If you guys are ready to win in the next three years, maybe. He'll more than likely want a six year deal at 29 years old. He might be the one to put you guys over. Then you can worry about that contract afterwards.

Petey is soft, floaty, and can't win a board battle.
Guentzal isn't gonna play with Petey in the playoffs. Toch is gonna load up the top line with Guentzal, Miller, and Boeser.
That's what I would do if I was the coach. Petey hasn't earned that linemate, and Guentzal would be wasted on his wing.
Stick Petey with Suter and Hoglander, reduce his minutes. Let the Joshua and Garland line take his minutes.
Then tell Petey if he wants his ice back he needs to toughen up and learn how to play big boy hockey.
