Wrath of the Reset Bomb is such an underrated song, but it and Viridi's theme fit chapters 11 and 12 perfectly. You've just taken down Medusa - who you already thought was a huge threat. Then right afterwards Hades shows up. He's clearly way more dangerous, and you can tell that from how nonchalant he is about Medusa and war in general at the end of Chapter 9 and through Chapter 10. Then you start up Chapter 11 and think it might be similar to Chapter 2 with Magnus - showing a ton of war at the start (this time over the Wish seed) and then fighting some Underworld boss or something. But Palutena pulling Pit back last minute and then finding out about the Forces of Nature and the power they have really was quite a mind blow for me. There was so much we didn't know about the game's world before. The way the music sort of "opens up" just like the story does post-Medusa is great! The person voicing Viridi did a really good job hitting the high notes as well.
Honestly I got a bit sick of it since I played a lot of Smash 3DS. The Reset Bomb Forest stage only had three songs and two of them were thus and the smash version of this song. The lyrics make this a lot better.
I think this is the moment where the real scale of the conflict is revealed. When that bomb drops and you see the entire human army reduced to nothing, you realize anyone could end this conflict right now if they truly desired. But Viridi doesnt want to stop the underworld, she just wants to wipe out humans. And Hades doesn't care what happens, hes just having fun pulling the strings in the background.
Viridi was basically being hard out-played by Hades. He spread the rumor of the Wish Seed because he knew it would cause the humans to behave at the peak of their selfishness and foolishness. This was calculated to push Viridi past her breaking point so that she would officially join the war against humans. This put two of his biggest rivals in direct conflict with each other while all he had to do was sit back and power up on the massive collateral damage. If Viridi had defeated Palutena and won the war then Hades would have attacked her immediately afterward. With life at its weakest and death at its strongest, Hades would likely have killed Viridi and become basically the unquestioned ruler of the world aside from a few neutral gods.

Fall is also the time where crops are harvested in preparation for winter, whereas winter is a time where a lot of things would die from either starvation or the cold. In this context "Mankind's Fall" would suggest Viridi is giving them time to prepare for the end.

This is the natural nuclear bomb but with nature Viridi's song is focusing on her revenge on humanity for messing it's nature and deciding to nature it with Reset Bombs and her troops and commanders combating against Palutena's and Hades's armies
You know, I just realized. Viridi seems like she's opposed to mankind due to industrialization and stuff like that. But Kid Icarus takes place during a rather medieval-looking era. So what exactly is Viridi fighting against, if industry and pollution on a massive scale doesn't exist yet?
Mankind were going into a massive war over the desire for hades false promise of a wish, and the engines of war that massive demand a lot of resources. Even IRL during the early human civilization we’ve caused a good deal of extinctions of animal life and deforestation. On this scale I can see her snapping.
I randomly stumbled over this channel looking for rare Kid Icarus content and found this magnificent musical, and the got randomlyChrono Trigger as a musical recommended. Two of my absolutely favorite games of all time. I need to check out the entire channel
Something I noticed that I don't think anyone else has (correct me if I'm wrong) is the way the chorus seems disjointed with those small pauses between each word almost like despite them serving the nature goddess the reset bombs deny the natural law, just thought it was pretty cool
Is it just me or is Viridi low key in the right here? I mean, objectively speaking, she has every right to decide the fate of the humans. She made them, they strayed from their intended path and destroyed most of her other creations in the process. I know the end of the game basically says that humans have evolved into their own thing and that they're the closest thing to gods. But Palutena and Pit interfering with her genocide of humanity would be like if Viridi waltzed into their domain and said "you're not allowed to do anything with your angels and centurions cause I disagree with you"
Rather ya love to hate her; Viridi truly Is the best thing In this game and deserves even more attention. I still wanna see Cerberus be next or at least give the Eggplant Wizard to shine! Reset Bomb: Reboot "Human Scum": Innocent chlidhood/teenhood franchises getting screwed over and redesign horrifically to become like Teen Titans Go/ThunderCats Roar.
Pretty sure Cerberus doesn't have a theme, just the regular boss fight theme... So it would surely be interesting to get a cover of it, but restricting it to Cerberus would feel inappropriate imo...
I wouldn't be surprised if the next Kid Icarus is mankind saying 'gods are enemies of all mankind' and then them uniting together to strike back against the gods.

The full package has arrived. Now I can hope for this one to get an hour version of Viridi just being angry.
To be honest, we had it coming
I mean yeah
It was just a matter of time anyway
Yes! This is one that I’ve been waiting for thank you Man On The Internet and all others who worked on it! Thank you!
This is the natural nuclear bomb but with nature
Viridi's song is focusing on her revenge on humanity for messing it's nature and deciding to nature it with Reset Bombs and her troops and commanders combating against Palutena's and Hades's armies
It kinda looks like Viridi is wearing a massive dress
In think (in the picture) that's meant to be the bomb
You’ve really discovered the beautiful soundtrack of this game huh? Im glad 😊
Man I love viridi! My favorite character in the whole game. So glad this one turned out so well!
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 I hope she doesn't know what is happening right now
I randomly stumbled over this channel looking for rare Kid Icarus content and found this magnificent musical, and the got randomlyChrono Trigger as a musical recommended. Two of my absolutely favorite games of all time. I need to check out the entire channel
What happened to the classic pantheon in this universe ? Who are these new deities such as Viridi and Palutena ?
This Viridi impression is pretty good. Also, this song is great.
Okay but the voice for Viridi is really good! And I love the art they used!
I love Viridis cracking voice, It's like a perfect mix between Livid Goddess and Angsty Teenager going through puberty
Something I noticed that I don't think anyone else has (correct me if I'm wrong) is the way the chorus seems disjointed with those small pauses between each word almost like despite them serving the nature goddess the reset bombs deny the natural law, just thought it was pretty cool
In her pursuit for the green, she stains herself.
I like how everybody *immediately* comments when the video is uploaded
YOU ARE SO DARN *AWESOME!!~*
Maybe Chaos and the Aurum will also get a song in the future? :D
But Palutena and Pit interfering with her genocide of humanity would be like if Viridi waltzed into their domain and said "you're not allowed to do anything with your angels and centurions cause I disagree with you"
I kinda agree yeah, the humans are her creation to a degree so she does hold authority over them
Как всегда, хор в ваших видео создаёт ощущение величия и таинственности с почитанием. Одобряю
Now we need a 1 hour extension of this.
0:57 Forces of Nature MOVE OUT!!
Can we talk about those high notes?! Amazing.
Viridi: “Slash and burn”
Me: Ignitor?
(If you know who Ignitor is, yay)
Based on your pfp and banner, a skylander?
@@BookWyrmOnAString yes :)
Damn, I haven't played Skylanders in forever. Ignitor was my favorite.
Rather ya love to hate her; Viridi truly Is the best thing In this game and deserves even more attention. I still wanna see Cerberus be next or at least give the Eggplant Wizard to shine!
Reset Bomb: Reboot
"Human Scum": Innocent chlidhood/teenhood franchises getting screwed over and redesign horrifically to become like Teen Titans Go/ThunderCats Roar.
Pretty sure Cerberus doesn't have a theme, just the regular boss fight theme... So it would surely be interesting to get a cover of it, but restricting it to Cerberus would feel inappropriate imo...
@@ker7339 well he could just use the theme for a boss rush if you will
@@drakofox1362 Yeah, sure. That theme's pretty good (like most musics of this game), so I'd be glad to hear it.
She has a point.
Yes. My favourite character gets a song and it’s so amazing. I love it so much. Probably gonna break the replay button
What a tsundere
Damn, Viridi's got one hell of a range. Fantastic job, y'all!
Well if nature didn’t want to be destroyed it wouldn’t have been made out of food and materials.
I guess that at least one 4th wall breaking moment had to be included in the KI: Uprising package, but I'm surprised it only happened only now.
Dudeeee these songs are so good! Can’t wait for more!
Imagine if this plays as the final boss theme of the human extinction lol.
Me when I heard viridi’s squeaky voice in this 🫢 Me when I heard viridi’s singing voice in this 😦
I wouldn't be surprised if the next Kid Icarus is mankind saying 'gods are enemies of all mankind' and then them uniting together to strike back against the gods.
No lie I loved this song but hearing viridis squeaky voice makes me rolling
Edit: I wonder what’s next for the kid icarus series if any
Lightning battle with hades vs viridi would be awesome
I would like a 1 hour version of this
2020 was just a more subtle version of the reset bomb, change my mind!
Yeah no kidding
Que the shocked Pit face
Now this was fast, like the palutena and medusa duet came out just a week ago and now we have this awsome song and OMG the falsete
People just don't give this game attention. It's literally one of my favorites
This is beautiful. As a lighting designer, I can PERFECTLY visualize an entire scene based around this song. God, it would be cool if Nintendo would ever approve a musical to be produced about Uprising!!
Dc.Hook : DETONATE THE REALITY BOMB.
Pit - Shrek
Palutena - Fiona
Viridi - Lord Farquaad
1:31 she will be very disappointed in what humans have done to nature and to each other we humans can be very evil
So can dolphins, but I don't see anyone trying to extinguish them.
That last high note. Just... wow.
