idk id be pretty ticked if i lost a milestone like that to a bot using 4wide as well. there's no way any human player is going to out 4wide a bot in any universe
you have a really good point. even if it is just a game, losing against a bot (which isnt allowed in ranked anyway... oof) and getting a 50k mark taken away by 4 wides is something that would make anyone atleast mad. i can completely understand the point that deleting the video on wumbos part was a little bit childish, but chasing after him and dragging his dignity into it is even more childish.
really though, to have such a childish person behind zetris is... sad.

i agree with you fully on both points. i know cheating isn't fair and isn't okay to do, however i think there are 2 reasons why cheating in PPT is not *as* bad as in other games:
1. you can dodge anyone you like. all wumbo had to do to avoid everything is just skip the bot again. then i have nothing to snipe him for, and just quit. he could have done that weeks ago and i would have stopped since its pointless for me.
2. i only accept people who know who they're playing against. if a person doesn't know it's the bot, i will skip them 100%. the only time i auto accept is when i'm live on stream, and then the other person can check who they're playing against and dodge accordingly.
though i understand that doesn't justify cheating and that i am still in the wrong here.

I respect pushing the game to it’s limits. It just doesn’t right to kick someone while they’re down. Everyone rages. I rage. Wumbo rages. What’s wrong with being a little prideful? Even vs a computer. What is a person to do exactly? Not get mad?
It’s not the botting that is upsetting, so much as your pursuit of justice. Do you want Wumbo to apologize? Do you want people to dislike him? To what avail? Why bully him? What does he do besides obsessively play Tetris to deserve that?
I feel like I don’t know enough of the story, or you simply cannot stand to see a player who is good at the game. I know it’s not the ladder, but the way you come off, you want to bring Wumbo to light so bad. I’m truly curious.

What I was trying to say was the fact that wumbo has already done a 50k run on PPT so I don't think he rage quitted because he was stressed about reaching 50k.I don't know if he has the game on ALL platforms,but what I DO know is that he wants to show off and when in danger of losing,he instantly 4wides people.I know that because I have played swap with him a total of 3 times.In all of them I beat him in one round and then he 4wided.I'm not saying he's bad at tetris or a cheater for using the stupid 4wide,just that he doesn't want to accept losing from anyone that did a little better than him in a single round,which is selfish and rude,when I am trying to play and he ruins my day with that broken opener.

Hey zetris I saw that you thought wumbo is only where he is now because be can 4 wide better then other players. Yet he rarely uses 4 wide honestly. I mean I saw him use it once in this math up but otherwise he really only uses it extremely tough matches and I mean why wouldn't u. If you are facing off against an opponent of equal or even higher skill is it not the smartest choice to use your best? And besides that he is also still talented at btb ts tst and just tetrises.

Also this might sound crazy but I have seen it numerous times but somehow wumbo posses a skill to increase how fast he's playing in a tight match. Like I've seen him start to struggle in matches then he probably plays less accurately but man does he get fast. I think he is talented salty or not
Because he purposely plays chill and slow whenever he can afford to. so he can activate his full power when it is necessary. Similar with c4w, he only does it vs good players, in tight situations. because he can win the rest normally, and anyone could really. that little bit of rating he was supposed to lose on those matches to keep him ranked fairly, he is carrying on c4w.
im 19k in puzzle league and he c4wed me. Maybe he remembered me taking a game on him last time but im not an “extremely tough match”

That's an amazing but ,but at first I thought zetris was an actual player,I played against zetris twice,I got bodied the first time because I thought you was just a good played it didn't look in legit. But the second time I won't because I guess the bot was on ,and about a minute into the match zetris just froze and didn't do anything an pretty much have up, I'm just confused by why it happened
If bot was streaming, it's a malfunction. If not, it was just a test and you got lucky to take that win. :)

yeah, misamino does 4 residue. it's a bit harder to start and manage the build, but when executing it it can be done infinitely and without softdropping.

I don't understand the outcry against the 4w. First off, they're really fun to do. Second, they're pretty easy to counter, even with a full height one; TSD/TST cannons or even 3w sometimes shuts em down-- and I don't think we should be hating on wumbo for using them--- it's a pretty practical way to play. And I don't get why him "Rage quitting" is such "arrogance"; it's the proper human response when trying hard and losing the a bot lol
When you can get like 5 more wins to get back to 50K but instead rage quit, and call yourself the "Tetris God" and "The best Tetris player" despite others being better than you, that's kinda arrogant imo
Also 4 wides are just generally annoying, at least with when I play with people doing it

skill stopping is just stopping exactly where the piece you want to land is every time but finesse usually involves techniques like going against the wall then moving back instead of just moving directly to the place directly left or right of the wall i think.

Should be combined with Niina, the Puyo AI, think it's essentially unbeatable by human players at this point (at least with any consistency at all) have Zetris play Tetris and Niina play Puyo. Unbeatable combo right there, although Ninna may need tweaked to understand the importance of the timer.

My guess is the swap rules only show three next pieces.
Fun fact: Zetris used 5 pieces in Swap mode back then (game still has them in memory, just not rendering). However, newer versions of the bot (as of like a week ago) use some black magic voodoo and can see 2 full bags into the future after the displayed queue (which varies between 12 and 19 pieces at a time)

@@johnbuttler915 The only thing the bot lacks now is intelligence, other bots like Tetras can easily give Zetris a run for it's money. . . if only Tetras also saw that far into the future and ran that fast (Tetras uses image recognition, which, while making it "fair" (plays like a human), also makes it really slow)

Zetris we can agree that you both are being unsportsmanlike, yeah wumbo did get annoyed and deleted the VODs but you can’t make fun of him. If you were in his position and lost your progress you would probably do what he did. Let’s just say that both of you didn’t make very good choices.
