Just a friendly reminder that Chain Armor used to have a crafting recipe... however, it used fire as an item and thus was not legitimately achievable.

@@Midnight74751 It was technically achievable, but only in Multiplayer, since the /give command was the only way. Cheats weren't a thing in Singleplayer in that era.

Well, sunflowers always point to the sun, that’s something
But I would prefer if instead of glowing it has the same effect as the glowing item frame and stuff, aka you will always see it in the dark but it won’t emit a light level, also would be cool if the glow part was only on the “torch part” of the plant
My other idea for it is that if fireflies get added, they would surround torch flowers

Torchflowers should look at the torch
The real plant they are based on is not bioluminescent (ie it doesn’t glow) so why should Minecraft’s?

Yeah, maybe they coulda had it like, it shimmers every now and then, but is most often unobstructed. Or have the enchantment outline or a glow behind it

Shoutouts to the old tornadoes mod! Even had a block specifically for sending a redstone signal if there was a tornado nearby. Was a really fun mod to play around with.
fun fact: it's now called the weather, storms and tornadoes mod and is currently updated to 1.18.2! it has a lot of new updates now :D i realise this sounds like an advertisement but i just have so much nostalgia from watching youtubers play the old version in like. 2012 or whenever it initially released lol

The thing is for me: I love all the new features, except phantoms. Like that's the only thing I feel wasn't well executed because they spawn even when you're in creative mode and just want to build, which makes them really annoying. That's all. The rest of the updates are awesome as heck!
I don't hate them but there's sure nothing to like about them. Nothing worse than staying up working on a big project only to be knocked off and killed because you dared to stay up a few nights.

So, Cherry Blossom and Cherry Fruit trees both come from the same origin, one was just bread for flowers and produces fruits that are basically inedible for humans, but birds seem to like the Cherry Blossom Cherries.

You know, everyone saying torchflowers should glow are just blatantly ignoring what Mojang said because after Mojang announced the sniffer for the vote players asked if the plants would have any use and Mojang said no that the plants would be purely decorative and technically light is a use of the plant. So no glowing torchflowers because Mojang literally said so

One of the most nostalgic mods for me was the mutant mod, and the mod that lets you morph into mobs that you kill

1.19 was a good update, but it could’ve been better. That’s my motto with those types of updates. I still have fun, but having more stuff such as different birch trees, or fireflies would make it even more fun.
Those two things would make a nice *mod* but original minecraft is already too cluttered, why would you want to have more stuff in it?

the wilds meant nothing to me. I don't go to swamps so the new tree added was unhelpful. Frogs mean nothing to me at all. I think the only thing the wilds did for me was the 1 in 100 chance of seeing a axolotl pool when i actually go to caves which, im not gonna like, caves and cliffs made my hate for caves even worse.

My most nostalgic Mod is Modern Warfare MC, it added a bunch of guns and I just loved the Desert Eagle because it disintegrated everything in either one or two hits.

My most nostalgic mod is one I actually still play with- Fossils and Archaeology Revival. It adds accurate dinosaurs and archaeological features. I haven't updated in a while... But it's a really fun mod. I remember back with the original when the Spinosaurus couldn't die. My friend and I would put it on the moon in GalactiCraft and its health was just too insane. Ahh... The olden days...
Really, my only gripe with new Minecraft updates is that my laptop can't handle them, so I can't really play anything beyond 1.16 reliably. If I try, I have to set my render distance to the minimum. One day, that will change.

The Revival mod team is still active, as far as I'm aware. If they haven't released the update already, they're planning on bringing the mod to 1.16 and vastly expanding the archaeology, which is severely needed, if you ask me
