The paintings. you forgot the EXIT painting, and the one with a curved hall. Both of these are refrences to the backrooms, maybe thats what the game is based off of? (if its based off of anything) because everything here is infinite. Maybe its connected to the backrooms?

Im pretty sure that the smile face entry was refering to an easter egg in the game where after the seek chase you can see a smiley face outside of the window, but it disapears after thunder strikes

Halt usually didn't have a corridor and it used to be chasing humans. He was annoying when I died to him. Back in 2022 I died to him when he was chasing me. I tried to get in the closet but he stole it from me!

When I first played doors it took me about a 1 hour to find the key in door 0 and I was with my bestie she had to look it up how to get past door 0💀

Doors in their twitter said "There already is lore. We are just revealing it very slowly. This upcoming update will reveal more" in the questions tweet
Actually, the hotel takes place on an island, if you look out at an specific angle you see water and a dock.

5:18 Okay, I know that at 5:32 you said that some people try to make loose connections to the DOORS Lore, but if you do a little digging into LightningSplash's past/history, you would find that Figure was actually meant to be an entity for Apocalypse Rising and how it worked was once it spotted you (It's maximum line of sight was 200 studs, somebody please convert studs into meters for me please.), it would produce a defening roar that could be heard from across the map, charge at you on all fours, and if it caught you, well you would instantly die. Anyway, my own loose connection is that the DOORS time-line is the same as the Apoc (Short for Apocalypse Rising, don't question it.)time-line, as Figure exists in both of them. However, the Figure in Apoc is very much different from the one that we now know, but both models from both games have the long, slender arms, the circular head, and the incredible speed. Now, back to my theory, yes, the DOORS time-line is set in the same one as Apoc's. This is, again, as I've mentioned before, due to the fact that Figure existed in both games, hundreds of survivors have flocked to The Hotel for safety, and if you look out the glass doors at the entrance of The Hotel, you can see that a mysterious force is tearing a bridge apart and the broken pieces are floating mid-air. I reckon that this is also the same force that disallowed survivors to bringing any form of weaponry, and the Figure that resides in The Hotel is an "evolved" variant of the Figure roaming the ruins of the Robloxian World outside, and since that mysterious force I mentioned earlier destroyed the bridge, also prevented the "less-evolved" Figure from reaching the survivors who went inside The Hotel. And I also have another theory that The Hotel is a sentient being and is capable of producing many different scenarios, which explains why the elevator has crashed so many times, but once you reach it in your scenario, it's been "reset", and is still out if power, and not broken. Those are my two theories, and thank you for taking your time to read this comment.

The lore is being trapped in a hotel full of monsters that where maybe humans before and you open doors. Thats the whole lore
The Hotel update (Hotel+) is coming out in december.

5:21 there is lore but lsplash and redibles are just revealing it slowly. Hotel plus has more of the lore with the rooms, new entities, new locations, and new items ( mostly the crucifix)

The rush thing entry is actually actually about this along time ago when the game first came out Rush had like a helper his name was called mini rush mini rush which is come back for a second like ambush but he got scratched and replace with ambush

17:55 Im pretty sure these claw marks are actually from El Goblino, If you look at his hands in game he has 3 claws just like the scratches on the wall, it makes sense to me since he has to go around the Hotel looking for coins for his dinner as his dialogue sais sometimes

I’ve gotten a ambush at door 5 twice before (the earliest he can spawn to my knowledge) on the same day! I don’t know the probability of that but getting him at room 5 is a 1/1000

11:14, for this entry, Figure was first created in 2018, he was created INTENDED for a shooting game and not for doors. Figure in that shooting game has a rare chance of spawning and when you touch it, you’ll get instantly killed. At 2020, they decided to bring back figure but for another project, which is not doors. Idk what the project WAS about but Figure was remodeled. Seek was actually the first entity intended for Doors.
Edit: I’m not saying that Seek was created before figure but figure was created before Seek but not for Doors.

Let me explain "Why doors" abit more clean or something
Doors was orignally based on Spooky's house of jumpscares (now spooky's jumpscare mansion due to copyright)
And it was a game with 1000 doors there we're also enteties and "special" rooms (Like in DOORS Level 50 and Level 100, seek sections too i don't know what doors they are on sorry (:^:) but yeah you can search it up on youtube or something
