Not my language, but I've also been learning Vietnamese and I love their combination of words that makes up "kind", which is a combination of "good" and "stomach", because people are more amenable to kindness when they are well fed or that is when they are in their best mood when they are well fed.
Also, "sleepy" in Vietnamese is made up of "sad" and "sleep" because when you're tired the expression you made looks sad. And the word for "turkey" made me chuckle, because it's just "Western Chicken" and for me that makes me thing of an Americanised Chicken, maybe with feathers patterned like the American flag.

In Chinese, mercury is like ”water silver”, right the opposite. A type of small scale roller coaster is called crazy mouse. Fire mountain and fire car combination means the same as in mongolian.

We have a type of Roller coaster here in the USA called "Crazy Mouse" where the carts look like cartoon mice

Indonesian have the same combination for галт уул and галт тэрэг, just reversed 😃 (gunung berapi "mountain fiery" and kereta api "cart fire")
Other word combinations in Indonesian are:
    - kacamata "glass + eye" = glasses
    - matahari "eye + day" = sun
    - tanah air "ground + water" = country

In Finnish we also have "tulivuori" ("fire" + "mountain", volcano), "kukkakaali" ("flower" + "cabbage", cauliflower, the white one, not broccoli) and words like "elohopea" ("live(ly) silver", mercury), "maailma" ("maa" = land, soil, earth, "ilma" = air, thus "world"), "jääkaappi" ("jää" = ice +‎ "kaappi" = closet, cupboard, thus refrigerator), and these are all quite logical. But when it comes to certain animals, it gets stranger: "lohikäärme" ("salmon" + "snake" = dragon), "virtahepo" ("river" + "horse", hippopotamus), "jalopeura" ("noble deer", an old word for lion), "kamelikurki" ("camel" + "crane", an old word for ostrich), "satakieli" ("hundred" + "tongue(s)", nightingale, as it is "a bird that has 100 tongues". Btw, Finnish "sata" is related to Sanskrit śata, and for some reason Mongolian "хэл" is easy to remember for me 😀), and "kivitasku" ("stone" + "pocket", wheatear, a small bird that might sound like somebody had stones in his pocket?). Then we have phrase "tottakai!" which means "of course!", but literally is "totta" + "kai", "true, perhaps!".

“Kieli” totta kuulosta samoin niin kuin “хэл”. Lisäksi äiti kuulosta vähän niin kuin ”ээж”.

My hometown is Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. In 1990s, the park in the city center introduced a new ride called "疯狂老鼠", which literally means crazy mouse in Chinese. It is a roller coaster kind of ride, but less scary, without making you upside down. When I saw галзуу хулгана in this video, it reminded me of that! This is so interesting. I was guessing that maybe they translated 疯狂老鼠 into traditional Mongolian at that time, since in Inner Mongolia every public entity is required to write its name in both Chinese and traditional Mongolian. Then maybe it was introduced to Mongolia with its name in traditional Mongolian transcribed to Cyrillic Mongolian. Then the name might be used to call any roller coaster.
I did a little bit of searching. The original this type of roller coaster is called Wild Mouse, which was invented in the US, back to 1950s. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_mouse .
