The original was absolutely beautiful and remains one of my favourite songs, so I was sceptical when I saw this was on DSG because I was worried a dubstep remix would ruin it, but I've gotta say I am pleasantly surprised.

I miss this style so much.. was there from dec3mber till now.. fought tooth and nail as much as possible to get people to know his sound.. and all these years later its like he just lost this level of imagination.. ill fight anyone on the fact that without question for 8 years i was harveys biggest fan... and i still love his music but nothing he made in 2022 or 23 ever came close to this or any of the early days of chime and even late days of dec3mber. 😢

i was once just like you. i just took the very best of the best songs, if i wasn't ok with something because i'd never heard it before and wasn't used to the sound i just excluded the whole song altogether automatically, didn't matter if the rest was absolutely perfect. all i can say is you might wanna losen your criteria a little bit, my tip is to be more open-minded. nowadays i'm almost too open-minded already, because i take many songs that aren't exactly amazing and mesmerzing and afterwards feel like it was a mistake and it's not good enough for my personal collection. anyway, i know the older me detested dubstep, chillstep, anything too calm and most of electro anyway. it's safe to say that the new me has a lot more fun with music in general. :)
Even if it colors within the lines, I think it's hard to argue that this is anything but good dubstep.
