    With 8 magnets and 6 coils you could make a 3-phase generator with only 10% voltage ripple after the rectifier. You can also virtually double the length of the permanent magnets by use of a magnetic mirror (a low carbon steel plate at the sides opposite of the permanent magnets with enough thickness to conduct the flux (I think 3 mm is enough). It also stratifies the flux through the coils. You can furthermore unify the back sides of of the permanent magnets with a magnetic yoke made of low carbon steel. This gives a lot more induction due to the minimization of the air losses. It is also better to make the inner diameter of the coils as large or larger than the outer diameter of the permanent magnets. Otherwise the inner windings doesn't contribute much to EMF (the inner flux is compensated by the outer flux). The gaps can be made much smaller dependent on the manufacturing tolerances. 0.25 mm is possible and enough.

      Thank you for the details.
      That's the kind of things that make the difference between a nice science class project and something useful.

      @@19Murad77 I can calculate / simulate a powerful design for you, if you could give me some parameters like hight and diameter of the permanent magnet disks, the diameter of the permanent magnet circle and the rotation speed and voltage you desire.

    Not sure what's wrong here but this should be putting out WAY MORE power. Maybe more turns of a finer wire in your coils. Or adding a steel plate on the opposite side of the magnets to concentrate the flux. Some wire in three phase and not just in series. I would think 100 watts is possible.

    • @aston6807
      @aston6807 4 роки тому +1

      Również byłoby dobrze, gdyby te magnesy leżały na stalowych tarczach. A po za tym czy w tego typu generatorach nie powinno być tak, że magnes jest nieco większy, niż "ramka" cewki, a cewka nie pracuje cała, tylko jej "ramki"? Z tego, co mi wiadomo, to nie powinno się traktować całych cewek jako elektromagnesów i wciskać magnes tak samo szeroki, jak cewka. Pominę już fakt, że niektóre jego projekty diy nie zostaną "powielone", bo mało kto ma w domu tokarkę (tanie raczej nie są), oczywiście można zlecić komuś toczenie/frezowanie, ale za parę małych pierdół można się wykosztować.
