I think they should add a game mechanic to where you can just unload the round rather than firing to load a different round

Agreed. I don't mind spending another second or two to not need to waste a shell just to load a different one.
while from a game point of view it would make sense to do that, it's actually realist because once you load a round in the breach the charge then becomes primed and the round cannot be removed from the gun otherwise if you tried to do that when the charge is primed there's a very good chance you'll blow yourself up, so tanks have a safety feature where once the round is loaded in the gun breech it will become locked and you can't open it until the round is discharged.

I would trade that 3bm60 with 10 degrees/secs of vertical speed and throw it to 11.0, 3bm46 was already well enough for 10.0 and 3bm60 basically changed nothing
Agreed - tank would be a great flanker then - now you can just look at anything, anywhere at 10.0 and kill it, pretty absurd
This projectile in Russian is called 3BM60 “Svinets”, in English it is 3BM60 “Lead”, but a more accurate translation from Russian would be if we call it the Latin 3ВМ60 “Plumbum”
Only thing it’s missing is the patented reload time which would be 6 or 6.5 (don’t remember which one), but hey one thing at a time! 🤘

and they aren't going to increase the br
and also the sprut sucks even with the extra penetration from 3bm60 and this is coming from someone who got it recently
like the sprut has zero armor that 50cal can pen it frontally at a pretty decent range
if you shoot anywhere at the sprut
it is gonna die because the crew is so compact
and it has zero gun depression and is extremely large even compared to western mbts
all it has is mobility, penetration, and gen 3 thermals, but it has no armor and a very slow reload of 7.1 seconds and can not be increased further
like the sprut is good in a flank, but everyone at this br has thermals, has a laser range finder, has equal mobility, better armor, better gun depression, and better reload
i also forgot western tanks also have a faster gun elevation which has been one issue that i keep having to deal with in a russian tank and going over very hilly maps and being unable to train my gun on a target because the gun elevates extremely slowly

@@jPlanerv2 its a good scout tank because u can use ur really good thermals and high mobility relative to russian tanks at this br to get into good positions to scout the enemy team, but currently russian players arent the brightest, so the one good job u expect it to do well in is just rendered useless because ur team is unable to capitalize from that information because they are all turms with 2 respawns

Here is me playing this tank the whole day yesterday and not even noticing it got his round upgraded🤦♂️🤦♂️
Always loved this thing, this buff makes it so much better but at the same time wasn't really needed, a buff to its vertical speed would be much more welcome so moving on, at 10.0 3BM46 was incredibly powerful and I never once had too much trouble, but now this thing should be moved up, 10.7 would be a really good spot for it and I personally play it there with my T-90A and 2S6 and it performs incredibly well!

Watched just after dropping a nuke. You didn't use the suspension lowering and raising. It can't rock back and forwards like the BMP-3 or BMD-4, but it helps with hiding and peeking over obstacles.

I think you can negate the terrible vertical guidance by exploiting the stabilizer, the way is that they snap if you move your mouse up or down and the more smooth the faster it gets.

This really didn't need to get 3bm60 while staying at the same BR. It's now a lot closer to the cv90120 at 11.3 with having the nations top tier round and a (slightly worse) autoloader but of course it gets to stay at 10.0 with the cv90105. I guess it cant be a real war thunder update without russian tanks getting buffed.
I played both extensively and its not "a lot closer". It was unnecessary for them to add 3BM60 to this vehicle at 10.0 considering 3BM46 literally lol penned pretty much everything except some 11.0 tanks. The CV90120 is miles better in depression, reload, optics (stupid 32x commander optic), horizontal/vertical traverse and mobility. It would've been better if they just increased the vertical speed (it got bug reported to be faster but rejected lel) or make the suspension lean forward like it could IRL instead of giving it 3BM60.

I played both a lot, the 2S25M did not need 3BM60 and 3BM46 pretty much lolpen everything. CV90120 is MILES better with reload, mobility, traverse (horizontal/vertical), optics (32x zoom on commander) and depression. That vertical traverse is the killer along with the reload in CQC battles.

Would never sacrifice the amount of spalling you get from 46 for the trash 60 that 'suposedly' pens more (nothing changes, you pen the same spots and you can't pen the same spots). this shell changing has ruined t90 and now this tank as well. I hope they keep it for T80U, my last hope

russian winrates went down because their top tier has been stagnant since 2021 and the spall liners made the already dominant 122s even better and now germany also gets one

8.3? No. Neigh unkillable hull down, laser range finder, dart round etc. I have British 11.7 and the 8.3 BR is already god tier with so many vehicles. The Chieftain Mk.3 and Mk.5 on the other hand could be 8.3.
