You're right about the leylines They are a part of the great tree that keeps all the info about the world inside it
Looking at the previews I thought this was not going to be all that interesting but I really liked this one. Sumeru still my fav (so far)
I loved the natlan archon quest but i had to cry so fucking hard at some points (i finished the quest today at 3 AM thats crazy)
