Really nice vid. I've purchased the same Kronos, only the eighty eight key version. I really like the key bed and the clarity of the sound libraries. Then with people like Shaun,Herbie Hancock ,Cory Henry, and Jordan Rudess, how much more information and recommendation support does one need?..Yes it cost money, but as far as I'm concerned, the best investment I can make is,in myself and my equipment needs. This keyboard contains the essential sound reproduction to have me sounding like some of my favorite artist and groups...EWF horn section,George Duke E.P. sounds,Take 6 vocal collaborations,Donald Fagan and Michael Mcdonald just to name a few. I play Contemporary gospel for church as a main musician sometimes and auxiliary musician most times. But I've got the goods, because God is good.
I just was on his wiki page, looking at his credits. If someone never heard him play, but looked at the quality of the gigs he's been on, they would know he is a serious talent.
This is great. I just started doing this a few months ago. Playing 2 different scales typically in 3rds or 5ths. Playing slow is great, especially for your ear to start to hear and know those harmonies intuitively. Seal Saying "Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. " Thank you you oh great one!
Kudos Shaun. Wonderful music. I studied pipe organ almost exclusively age 7 through 21. When I started piano, my fingers felt like trying to play with boiled macaroni. Thanks for stressing the weighted keyboard.
He does the equivalent of old school hip hop DJs/producers taking the labels off of their vinyl records to hide the source. He said he changes the color coding on the presets! Haha!

This guy is one of the main reasons why i started to playing the piano. I'm a big fan. Greetings from Brazil.

Love that "Thing of Gold" quote he threw in there. And I haven't played "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" since h.s. jazz band. Great video!

Guess he wants you to do the work.
I love the Kronos sound but the UI seems hard to learn for me.
7:18 is he talking about Karate Kid?
👍
You have to practice? You play like you came out the womb noodling a tiny little piano.
He learned and practiced from age 4. He went to a performing arts high school, so he had more practice. He put his 10,000 hours in a long time ago.
