I’m saying this as an honest Celtics fan. My team needs to step up because going up 3-1 against a hapless Hawks team means nothing. I still don’t see any core shift to the things which made them dominant for most of last season. Playing headless-chicken basketball in the third quarter and stagnant, uninspired team play-and many instances of bad star performances even when they do opt to play iso-all that is going to kill their title aspirations if they keep it up against the 76ers, Heat, or hell, maybe even the Bucks if they somehow come back.

Kevin Harlan was almost just as crucial as Jimmy in this game. Would've been only half as good to witness if Kevin Harlan's commentary was like it was. But Jimmy, it's like exactly what you dream of as a kid. Some of his shots were like every coaches worst nightmare (this step back long shot with so much time left on the shot clock while leading by 1). But he made them and they were fantastic. I love Jimmy.

Not many fan bases is really loud and really crazy jumping as a collective and screaming which is why no matter what seed we are Miami at home is always scary plus our seats are on top of the players so it makes it intimidating

I was watching this game live and I fucking exploded when Jimmy made that stepback three. Its hard to translate in highlight videos but you could palpably feel the pure fucking tension and momentum building up throughout this entire game and Jimmy just felt unstoppable. If he had made that And-1 at 2:26 i probably would’ve passed out from excitement
