Lacto Calamine gives a makeup like look and yes it helps to treat pimples but it makes the skin darker in the bright sunlight so can use a moisturizing sunscreen like Vaseline first and over that use lacto Calamine.Both together give good Sun protection.

I used it on my face and I felt the same. I have extremely oily acne prone skin. My skin felt stiff and sweaty .. not oily but extremely sweaty.

The aloe vera version is good fr oily skin.
