Major sb, I agree with some points. Brother, I also live in this city. Neither I went there, nor did any other local from this city (except for the UA-camrs). The ones causing the chaos were mostly people from rural areas who have probably never even seen a mall in their lives. And Gulistan-e-Johar is not a posh area. The population here is mostly mixed, with people coming from rural areas and small towns. Unfortunately, no other city in Pakistan has been able to match Karachi, which is why people from outside keep coming here for livelihood, just like people go to Mumbai. There are also many internal local issues, such as the census not being accurate and political mismanagement, which leads to loose control over basic law and order by the police. An inaccurate census is also a major reason why Karachi doesn't get the resources in the budget that it should. There are many other issues as well, which make Karachi crowded. The locals here still buy branded goods (they have a lot of money, LOL), and they still go to the mall with respect. Brother, Karachi is like Mumbai's little sister, but while someone always ends up taking ownership of Mumbai, Karachi still needs ownership. Everyone takes advantage of this city, but no one owns Karachi, which is why we locals are also troubled. I respect the positive criticism from you. may this can help being good neighbours.

Major sb, I agree with some points. Brother, I also live in this city. Neither I went there, nor did any other local from this city (except for the UA-camrs). The ones causing the chaos were mostly people from rural areas who have probably never even seen a mall in their lives. And Gulistan-e-Johar is not a posh area. The population here is mostly mixed, with people coming from rural areas and small towns. Unfortunately, no other city in Pakistan has been able to match Karachi, which is why people from outside keep coming here for livelihood, just like people go to Mumbai. There are also many internal local issues, such as the census not being accurate and political mismanagement, which leads to loose control over basic law and order by the police. An inaccurate census is also a major reason why Karachi doesn't get the resources in the budget that it should. There are many other issues as well, which make Karachi crowded. The locals here still buy branded goods (they have a lot of money, LOL), and they still go to the mall with respect. Brother, Karachi is like Mumbai's little sister, but while someone always ends up taking ownership of Mumbai, Karachi still needs ownership. Everyone takes advantage of this city, but no one owns Karachi, which is why we locals are also troubled. I respect the positive criticism from you. may this can help being good neighbours.
