India,Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of British India,the partition of India in 1947 after independence divided British India into two independent countries India and Pakistan.Later after Bangladesh liberation war of 1971 East Pakistan got liberated and new a country Bangladesh was born.

To the size of economy and population, Pakistan has invested hugely in defence sector rather than in productive puposes. It cannot compete with India and trying to compete with India would not be possible. It can sensibly invest in development of economy. On the other hand, Bangladesh economy outclassed both the neighbouring countries. As it has developed friendly relationship with India and other neibouring countries, it has achieved this economic level. For Pakistan, it is a self-destructive. For every move of India, Pakistan is taking steps in matching India particularly in defence sector. So far, India has not invaded Pakistan nor initiated a war. For unsatisfactory economy, India us compelled to take steps to strengthen its defence capabilities as it has enemy country on western and noerthern fronts.
