I wanted a Noe for like a year now, been stalking it and watched UA-cam videos on it. Came across yours and was like I wish I could get that kind of deal. In the back of my mind for the last 5 months since I watched your video that I could do it, lol! Well, 5 months later I finally found my jewel.....well it was $161.....but girl I ain't mad about it. Going to get it authenticated next week.
I have a 1993 Noe GM and it's my favourite in my Louis Vuitton collection. If fact it's the best bag the ever made in my opinion.
I thumbed up this video, it was great and the bag is very pretty...BUT...viewers, do NOT just walk in to LV and ask the SA to authenticate your bag.It sounds like Theekararae has one she’s worked with prior to this but the SA has to have been there a long time and know their $###. LV does NOT provide training to floor staff about authentication. If you get someone who’s worked there two months? You can ask for something in the CURRENT line and once in awhile they’ll tell me they never heard of it. If you show them something LV retired ten years ago? They WILL tell you a fake is real and a real is fake if they are inexperienced. I had one tell me a bag bought IN THAT BOUTIQUE was fake, until they looked up the record. They had never seen the style. If you want to try what she’s suggesting, take the bag in, do NOT tell them you bought it online. You want a repair quote for (pick anything on the bag as long as it’s not the canvas). I’d like a quote to replace the zipper, piping, lining, whatever. (You’re not GETTING the repair, but they don’t need to know). The SA will take it to the repair specialist and THEY are the one who will not be faked out. If they come back and say repair is X dollars, it would take 2-5 weeks, your bag is real and you can take that to the bank. (Just say thanks, I’ll think it over and go on) LV will not repair or quote to repair fake. The SA would bring it back and find some classy way to say ‘not taking this fake crap’ like ‘we are not able to repair items not produced by us’ or something similar. The repair specialist IS trained to authenticate. The floor staff is NOT. Some of them CAN, but you don’t want to risk throwing a real bag in the dumpster because the salesperson thinks they’re a hot expert. Theekararae, your bag is beautiful and you got a great deal!

After much research like you stated I just purchased my first pre loved LV bag and it came with the lock attached to the purse but no key, would you know how I can find a key for the lock? Thank you

great video, yes this is indeed authentic. Look where the strap is in the corner by the edge of the hardwear on the strap is the dc but you probably already found it by now. (video is over a year old lol) Toodles🍾🌹

+Pamela Castro I was in the store purchasing my speedy. I asked my sales associate if she could authenticate it for me.. She didn't hesitate to look at it, and even got a second opinion from another associate! She was super sweet!! I had a really good store experience!

Girl, I loved your video! I was wondering whether or not to buy that exact same bag (vintage, in fair condition but nothing that cannot be fixed). The girl already bought it second-hand so it has lived two or more lives already and she's selling it for around the same price as yours. You convinced me to give it a shot tbh. @@Mer19961996 hi ! I eventually got it for around 190€ shipping included. Honestly, I would not spend 500€ on one, especially if it's damaged. I am pretty sure you could get a decent one for less than 300€. You should also be aware that the monogrammed part cannot be fixed / repaired if damaged.
@@maureenh6826 That's a really good price! I was looking for this bag and mostly are around this price or are really damaged. The damage on this bag are the sides( that can fixed) but the monogram is still intact. Are you still using it? If you don't mind from where did you got it?
@@Mer19961996 I got it from Vinted. If it's about conditioning the leather that's good and if the monogram is not cracked it might be worth it. It really depends on your budget, the state you would deem acceptable and the location of the damage.
And yes, I am still using and I like how big it is !

If I am being honest it’s still expensive that’s why I am hesitating. I hear so many horrors stories about vinted that people are selling fake or that never shipped the items. I am happy that yiu have a great experience. Do you still use your bag and are you satisfied with it?

Regarding authentificaton. Feel it, look at the stitching, and make sure it is leather. You will never find a fake LV made with real leather.
