Should you include financials in a pre-seed startup pitch deck?

Jaime cold-emailed me some great questions about what should go into a pre-seed startup pitch deck. Do you include financials? What if you are pre-revenue? What about exit strategies? How many slides should it be?

Btw very surprised you take a long time horizon / exit agnostic approach for Pre-seed. One would think getting in earlier is also a chance to get your 5-10x out earlier and at a less complicated stage i.e. A or B depending on multiple goal. I would have also asked you that later
