Chris I can now see that shale park now being a Thing . Ironically me and my Girlfriend we go to different towns and cities on the Emtb and explore . Just did Manchester 👌
I commute to and from Edinburgh every day and know most places on the video, but I've never ridden them that way! I also need to get out to Cramond Island again, I've not been in about 25yrs even though I toddle around Cramond itself regularly.
If I had known you were hitting my local spot at Braefoot I could have shown you the big lines... by pointing at them and then getting out of the way. I take it you know that Danny Mac has riden there a few times, including "Danny Daycare" at 0:50 and 2:05.
The bings are right behind my old house. Pretty amazed you never got your bike nicked by the gadgies that are usually panning nicked motorbikes up and down it. Looks fun though!
Thats what puts an ebike in a league of its own, you can take them anywhere! Motorbikes can do things that ebikes can't but youd probably get arrested if you did some of that stuff on one, even an electric version. One of the most versatile forms of transport ever the eMTBs.

Cool video. Areas in Edinburgh I didn't know was there. I was looking to see if I was on the vid at cramond, probably was trying to stop the dog rolling in something dead! Big area to do I one day... 😉
I would have liked to know more about how the bike battery held up over that ride - nice vid. Could see my house a few times and know Braefoot well....

Pienimusta ha that’s kind of cool lol. I found an answer on google This is an issue with OLEDs. While completely turning off true black pixels looks great, having to turn them on again leads to the effect you are describing. It is often referred to as "black smear".
Another great Video Chris - you have some epic bike skills man! Also the Kenevo is really a do it all bike as you seem to be finding out. However, lots of owners are having problems with crank bearings grinding/play etc. - the only fix seems to be warranty replacement (if your lucky) and once out of warranty get a specialist to rebuild. This is a major concern for owners of Specialized (& probably other) mid-drive bikes. Could EMBN raise this issue with Specialized to get advice on how this can be avoided and what Specialized are doing to address longer term maintenance concerns? #ASKEMBN
Well! That doesn't help in my desperately missing Edi does it? I loved the ridiculous amounts of bike paths around edi, could get from my place in trinity, all the way to Murrayfield with out really having to deal with cars (though a friend saw badgers which is scary cool). The Innocence tunnel is great fun to ride through too, but not very mountain bike.
Hate to be the party pooper guys but MTB is not allowed on Arthur's seat. Otherwise, all the local MTBers would have been shredding it during the lockdown. You should have at least mention it in the video.
I love Scotland. Such a nice place to be. So much more relaxing than the south of England. But I have to say again that there’s a huge potential audience for an ebike channel for everything not mountain bike. I like watching MTB racing and doing a bit of rough-ish gravel riding but that’s as far as it goes. But yeah I really think it’s time now for an ebike channel focusing on urban riding, cargo bikes and stuff like that. I like the channel but the EMTB channel shouldn’t be the channel for all ebiking.
The peak is known as 'Arthur's Seat', not 'King Arthur's Seat'...poor research there, especially as it's labelled up all round Royal Mile as 'Arthur's Seat'...😠
Should’ve come to Corstorphine hill. We built some pretty big jumps on there
Good stuff - but it's just Arthur's Seat, not "King" Arthur's Seat...
Top class bike skills .. loved the video 👍
