      Thank you for watching Lynne, the terms nearside and offside are old english terms and not often used elsewhere, I think it originates from horse riding originally and mounting on the nearside which is the left 🤔 So, I use the nearside even on an LHD as otherwise the UK audience would be totally confused… but technically I get your point. A good example would be a pilot who would use the term nearside to describe the left of the plane and offside to describe the right.. no kerbs involved. 😊👍
