Wow, this was really helpful. I wanted to try out stippling for a school art assignment and this has been one of the best and most explanatory guides I could find! (the posterizing was really helpful and made it a lot less intimidating). Will you be doing more stippling in the future? I'm so glad I've found your channel, and thanks again!

Thanks for your kind words! I do plan on doing more stippling in the future. Stay tuned! I'm glad the posterizing was helpful. :)

I used Pixlr for this video, but you can also posterize for free on the Photopea website.

Hey! Regarding one of your videos on Isometric drawing, is it okay to not follow the points all the time. An example being I want to give depth to a cube, but I want the depth to be smaller than the distance from point to point.

If I'm understanding your question correctly, yes, that's okay. As long as you're following the line direction, you can choose the lengths of each line

Maybe someday! For now, practicing stippling on your own will help you to be able to draw one. It took me years to be able to stipple the way I do now. I hope you're able to draw your bug. :)

I let mine set for about a minute before erasing. I've made the mistake of erasing too soon. Smudge...

Yes, I've had that happen so many times! It's worth the wait.

I like to use Pigma Micron pens, but you can use other brands and types of felt-tip pens.
