Evan Rachel Wood was a vampire in the tv series True Blood. She was the Vampire Queen of Louisiana.
You didn't comment on it, so idk if you noticed, but of the missing vampires, "Rob" who didn't come because he wanted to leave it behind is Robert Pattinson.
Yes! I remember that I got the joke when I first saw it, but couldn't guess it with this rewatch! Thanks for the reminder! ,😊
Kristen Schaal as the Guide is always hilarious. Just pure comedic genius
She comes from my hometown. Went to my high school. My teacher talked about her all the time.
Colin Robinson’s “Hello!” will never stop being funny to me
The fact they went as far back as Paul Reubens having played a vampire in the Buffy movie is SUCH A DEEP CUT! Everyone knows the TV show but not the movie.
Evan, who played the Vampire Queen of Louisiana was another shocker. I mean she was great, but she would have never come to mind from True Blood. This episode earned so much respect from me!
They REALLY need to get David Boreanez and James Marsters to join the vampire council in the future seasons
Agreed! But at least we have Paul Reubens from the Buffy movie, which is funny on 3 or 4 different levels!
Get us some Angel!
@@jjlonsdale5971love the buffy episode where they have the song demond.
I read the reason why they all used their real names was a way to work around the copyright issue 😂 Since the show has no ownership over any of the cameo's respective vampire characters (except the original trio and so only they used their character names), the show simply resorted to using real names lol
It also has the fun implication that these actors/actresses are actually real life vampires and wasn't acting at all 👀
This was when I realized that this hilarious, ridiculous, sharp, murder-y little show also had heart. I always like my humor with a little heart.
“Guillermo, you psycho!” indeed 😁 he is my favorite character
They had their own names because they're insinuating that the people who have played vampires are actually vampires.
Kristen schall went to my high school. Skyline high. My teacher would always talk about it. She comes from my hometown. Longmont, co.
Brad Pitt said they never asked him, he would have loved to be there.
Fingers crossed he may crop up in a future season :)
Great reaction. You totally experienced the WTF reaction I had when I saw them use the real names. A total fan pleaser of an episode. Inclusing the baby vampire riff.
I love this episode for all the cameos.
Classic episode!
By the way, Dave Bautista is going to be the first wrestler to win best actor. He says he's only scratching the surface, and he's better every time he plays a new role.
What has he been in that shows that kind of acting talent?
He was excellent in Blade Runner 2049 and Dune.
@@richardgoddard37 Oh yeah, I've seen those but forgot he was in them.
Well, there's not even much competition he has.... Both The Rock and John Cena are terrible wodden actors....
@@Rash23215 Did you see Peacemaker? Cena made me well up with tears without speaking a word. The Rock is just an action hero, though.
Dark greetings, everyone!
So fun watching these through again with you. Seeing one or two things that I didn’t appreciate fully before, too.
All of the council members played vampires in other films/shows, as they looked in those films/shows. They are all called by their actor names, except for the three form the original movie.
Would-be vampire hunters in the past only carried garlic around to cover up the smell of dead bodies when they were opening up coffins to drive stakes through. The idea that garlic itself was ever harmful to vampires is a modern misunderstanding I think.
Not sure. The removal of her garlic necklace was the reason that Lucy was eventually turned in Dracula.
Not that I recommend the book. It's only because I'm studying it 😴😴
Actually a sprig of garlic (and other similar alliums) have a long tradition of providing resistance to curses and evil (going all the way back to Ancient Egypt). For example the molly that Odysseus was instructed to use to ward himself from Circe's magic is considered to have been a very close relative of modern garlic. The big problem though is that it is actually not the bulb that traditionally provides this protection, but the flower. But when you say garlic to someone these days, everyone just thinks of the bulb, and forgets about the rest of the plant.
Where’ve you been man? Miss your reactions.
Many actors from movies are in this one!!!!
💖💖💖
Was it an "accident"?
Tilda Swinton from Only Lovers Left Alive, one of my favorite vampire films :) Shame they didn't get Tom Hiddleston too
Yeah, together with Chan-Wok Parks Thirst my favorite Vampire movie. My favorite performance from both Tilda and Tom
"Watch your step. I don't have to... I glide"
So many great lines, but this gets me every time.
I understand Kiefer was up for it but it clashed with other filming and wasn't able to. Kiefer would have been brilliant. X
Garret is Dave Batista, actor & wrestler!!😎😎😎
