  • The Prophet 12 has 4 delay lines, and with those, you can achieve a reverb effect, chorus or flanger effects. In this video, I show you how to achieve these effects using the Prophet 12.

Thank you so much for these tips. With regards to the reverb, I have found that turning the first three feedbacks to zero, and just bringing the fourth up to about 90 works quite well.

Thanks for the great tips! The delay section is powerful tool, but I've never felt I was using it to it's full capability.
Here's a tip of my own: You can set your LFO destination quickly by holding the LFO button and turning the knob that you want to modulate. Not sure if this is something they added in the latest firmware, as I didn't discovered it until recently. The auxiliary envelopes and mod matrix can be set the same way.

Can each delay be panned hard left/right ?

Great thanks but how did you get all four delays to show on the display at once?

+Jeff Strichart I was wondering that too...I figured out that if you hold all four buttons down, they all light up and then you can change all four delay's parameters at the same time. This also works for the oscillator buttons and the envelopes (just hold down the envelope 3 &4 buttons). Have fun!

Actually you just need to hold one of the buttons for a few seconds.
