Massive Lost Media Iceberg Explained (Part 1)

Hello everyone, and welcome back to another video! Today, I will be attempting to explain literally the biggest iceberg I've ever seen in my life. 998 entries total, with 8 tiers covering them all, this is going to be quite the journey, and who knows how long it will take for me to complete.
Depending on how well this video individually does, that will determine whether or not I turn it into a series of 1 part per layer on the chart, which would total out to 8 different parts on the channel. And once it's completed, I'll just combine them all together at the end for an absurdly long viewing pleasure. Something that I think is important to note is that around 95% of the script for this is narrated directly from the Lost Media Wiki, with only some of the source material being changed in the script used for this.
Regardless of that though, I hope everybody enjoys this explanation! And like with all of the videos, if I got something wrong, or probably didn't explain something enough, just let me know in the comments!

Just a heads up but the episode of Sesame Street with the Wicked witch of the west was indeed found just around a year ago! I think it was uploaded by an anonymous user who had the episode. Im enjoying this format so far, would love to see the rest of the tiers!
People always ham up the burning of Alexandria as a massive tragedy that set us back thousands of years, but in reality most of the information had long since been shared around. It takes a lot more than one library burning for us to lose major advancements in technology.

I feel bad for the creators of Food Fight, because it honestly had such a cool concept. It sucks that it had to end up like..... That.
It feels like it was always gonna be a cash-grab, to be honest. With the movie using licensed characters from commercial products even back then, it feels incredibly disingenuous and it'd be hard to sympathize with characters made purely to sell products instead of telling a story. The movie nowadays is remembered for its shoddy quality and the scandal, but if it had released on time in 2002, people would hate it these days for being corporate shilling, essentially Brand™ the Movie.

Back when I was younger (Early 2010s) I vividly remember seeing the deleted the deleted Spongebob Squarepants scene,on my family's old TV,& on the actual Nickolodeon channel for the Republic of Ireland at least . They might have included it to warn Irish kids on the dangers of Gasoline.
I remember it airing in Canada because I saw it too, I think they just didn't air it in America specifically because of 9/11 (American stations were EXTREMELY touchy it seemed to any explosions in media for a couple years)
By the way, Masahiro sakurai, the creator of smash bros, actually showed us footage of the prototype of smash bros dragon's fury the fighting game 6 months ago, which is insane, its the first time nintendo actually showed us early footage of their AAA games
Hey gmdblue! I love your content and videos, and the way you made your iceberg videos! Your Terraria Iceberg is what led me to continue watching your vids! I just wanted to say about the "Just One Bite" deleted scene, I love your thought/explanation about it but I have to say that I believe Nickelodeon or the Creator of Spongebob (Stephen Hillenburg) made it a deleted scene because it was made a month after the 9/11 attack, hence it was made on (October 2001.) I believe (from research and other videos i watched about this topic) that the fire effect and huge smoke/explosion of the animation of the episode was deemed too offensive and traumatic to the public because it "so called" reenacted the outcome of the event. That's all I have to say, keep up with the videos, I'm sure you'll reach 40k in no time!

Hey friend I thought I'd let you know as a new viewer who found you by the algorithm your red border made me think for the first couple times it came on screen that I had already watched this video. On PC at least it made me think the red bar for "watch time" as all the way to the right. Czech animation is unsurpassed though, some of my favorite animation comes from the Czech Republic, it’s very unique and incredibly unnerving if you look in the right place! (Toys in the Attic is a good one that scared me as a kid!!)
