I'm an NYU reject too. I ended up going to Syracuse and it was the best thing that has happened to me! I realized NYU didn't really have my interests; I just wanted to go for the name. I ended up declaring a double major in forensics, which NYU doesn't even have. You'll go where you belong, and this is the universe's way of telling you NYU isn't for you.

I got into NYU but actually ended up choosing a smaller, private school in Seattle. I got a full ride there and it was a better fit in general. Let's just saying getting into NYU, relishing in a week of excitement, and then getting hit with an 80k annual bill was not it! ;D

i just turned 27 yesterday so i’m probably one of your oldest subscribers and yet i still find so much joy watching your videos. with that said i want to tell you that life is so much more than just getting accepted or rejected from your favorite school/college, yes it can feel like the world is ending at that moment but it just wasn’t meant to be and once you’re around my age you’ll just laugh at the situation because it will feel like one of the silliest things you were upset about!! enjoy your school/college years and make memories you’re gonna want to laugh about when you’re feeling upset in the future💜

Girl , here is something I always stick by " everything happens for the good " basically , this means that whatever happens in life, whether it's good or bad , it happens for something better , so if something bad has happened then there is obviously something great waiting for you . And it's not only for erica but for everyone

Honestly this goes out to anyone who didn’t get into their ideal/dream school~ there’s more than one amazing school out there, you have thousands of opportunities. Do not limit yourself to one school that obvi didn’t deserve you. Life wouldn’t be challenging or educational if everything just went correctly. You are valid. Do not put yourself down because of this.

Always proud of u erica! Hope ur feeling better. I love how u are so relatable and true to your subscribers. I also suffered from acne before and what I learned is that less is more. Before, I did the 10-step korean skincare routine and it made my acne worse. Now, I just use 3 products that are gentle to my skin. Hope it will help you too. (Not a dermatologist tho, this is just from my experience).
