How To Write a Decoder and Get Metrics on Chirpstack

Chirpstack has a pretty cool (new) option to display metrics for your devices. This isn't a replacement for an integration, but is a very cool way to quickly debug. I also cover how to use ChatGPT to quickly get a decoder working for you (many times the manufacturer's decoders don't work out of the box on Helium/Chirpstack.)

Good stuff! I’ve seen cases where the specs for the decoder are not widely published but you can usually get them by emailing the manufacturer.
