Yea i ve been confused since I started watching her years ago. Now the situation is a bit easier to understand thx to the english subtitles but a few years ago all her videos were in chinese only so no one could figure out what's going on 😂 Cooking is an international language though so i dont mind
If I understand correctly, she is very popular on weibo and bilibili, this is a Chinese UA-cam, and she has a lot more subscribers there than here and, accordingly, the main advertisers are there, and the Chinese audience is very solvent, so such brands are advertised, she puts them here the video is more for a foreign audience, apparently that’s why at first there weren’t even subtitles in English🤔
