Adam as a Commentator makes the whole match so much better to watch
Me, personally, I disagree. I love Adams personality and YT content, but I can't stand it when commentators just string random facts together about the players. Talk to me about the game I'm watching - and if you can't think of anything to say, just keep quiet for some time
Totally disagree, he is cringe and weird person, he says so many unnecessary things during the match
If Adam is the one who is American , I agree. But get rid of that other one, with Northern English accent. He is pathetic and bordering on racism against the Chinese.
In the end, if there is something we don’t like, its nitpicking in the end, who cares.
I disagree he only sounds good because of how bad the others are. His commentary is way too cringy
The key moment was in game 3 when ML changed to an active blocking game while waiting for the right moment to launch his killer shots. What a tactical master!
Actually Ma Long changed the pace a little bit. He slowed down his shots.
"Tactical monster" except when it does not work, like against Wang Chuqin, Lin Gaoyuan, Lin Yun-Ju or even Lee Sangsu.
They are even bigger masters.
@@Independent_Man3 No other player in recent years comes close to him tactically or has a better understanding of the game, so yes even if he loses occasionally he is still tactically the best. And with his age he will start to lose more frequently, nothing unexpected with that.
So nice to hear Adam, especially calling a full match after so many edited matches. We were all starved only to hear chopped up comments. However, only serious TT lovers will appreciate it. Ma Long is still in top form, after soooo many years. Deservedly the G.O.A.T.
Fantastic game. Alexis played really well, good to see him back on his A game. Ma Long is just as good of an opponent however ! Solves the puzzle again and again despite getting dominated on the backhand for three sets… much to learn for Alexis
Arrogant bringt nothing 😂😂😂

Bobrow and Fraizer are the best commentators of TT! They make TT games much better to watch.
Great game!!! Congrats Ma Long!!!👍💪
Ma Long is G.O.A.T.
yes but it's the end
the pace changement is great - Ma Long just slows down the game. Alexis can't adapt and made a lot of errors.
No
It’s JUST BECAUSE MA LONG IS LUCKY IN SOME POINTS

It is insane that this video got 100K + views in less than a day. The other matches got only 5K views on average.
What an amazing game! Congrats Ma Long! ❤️🎉
I feel for Alexis. Up 8-4 with confidence in the 3rd and go down. I can understand why slammed his hand in the towel box at the end of that game. And maybe, he lost it right there, because the 4th game (not saying it he did ....) but seemed like he surrendered to his frustration. He tried ridiculous fast attacks off of Ma's serve. Anyways, great job G.O.A.T and Alexi. Really amazing game to watch. Looking forward to the next battle between you two.
9:4 it was :)
Damn , that's one cool looking table !
Like the First Order from Star Wars is staging a Table Tennis event 😅
Great to see Alexis back at his bestest!!!
3:59 It's not the subtlety, it's just that the WTT camera angle is absolute shit.
If you search WTT contact on Google there's a page where you can submit such feedback to WTT. I'm giving you this advice as someone who detests this angle and wants change - I don't think they're going to do anything unless people send feedback through official channels (even messages as short as one message would help).
A very good video quality !
Great match. I always like watching these guys especially the dragon. Lebruns coach is right, he needs to relax when he's excited to much. I like to stand up straight, chin up and breath slow with long breaths to relax, not run around before the match is over. Learn to calm yourself and focus only on the next point. I prefer not to celebrate until the set is over since i find overly celebrating a point mid game can turn the momentum real quick when you lose a point.
Alexis' weird movement before the serve is both exhilarating and childish and the way he celebrated a winning point is bothersome!
@@jchanmcse it's also understandable since just playing against MaLong 🐐 would make me pee my paints 😆
Perfect Ma Long!!! Incredible player!
Alexis has a very good game plan in first 3 sets until Ma long figure him out. At the end Ma long experience and being a veteran make him win this game. Alexis youth and adjustment to the game beat himself. He is still young and will improve his game plan as he age.
This man is the absolute goat of ping pong. he dominated the forth game

Wow impressive match both of them played absolutely fantastic
What an amazing match!!!
You can see that the pressure has come off the coach of the Chinese national team, Wang Hao, after winning the World Team Championship. This time he was more calm and managed to give Ma Long good guidance. He told him to stay closer and use his opponent's energy in the fourth set. This is not the preferred method of the Chinese team, but sometimes the opponent gambles and stays close and uses only your energy and it succeeds. In such a case it is sometimes better to make adjustments and raise the risk level as well.
Glad that Ma Long won!!👌🏽
nice game and recording quality
Amazing game!! Amazing Adam Bobrow!!!
Amazing?
Angry Lebrun was not angry no more which made him more dangerous. Very good game!

Not a single Ma Long match in which Adam does not mention Ma Long's knee surgery.
hahahaa
it help viewers to better connect wit player and makes the game more engaging.
Truly the GOAT -- Ma Long still beats all EU players at the age of 35 with ease, even though he no longer handles the quickness of some Asian players.
Handled Alexis with ease might be a small bit of an exaggeration.
with ease??
"with ease". Yop, that's right little yellow fella, with "ease". Don't forget to tip the umpire. We all know how ccp works.
@@ctrnxntseems the comment touched one of your pain points 😊 Stick to technical discussion if you will (what did ccp do to your little mind anyway?)
@@mryan44523:0 is dominance, 3:1 is ease. The times ML lose to non-ethnic Chinese players are small and far in between even today
Ma Long 7-3 lost the game. Alexis 9-4 lost the game. Can't believe!
English: I have often highlighted that for ten months (After his victory against FZD), Alexis had sunk psychologically, putting some of his admirers in undisguised annoyance. For the first time, at the world team championships I saw Alexis Lebrun raise his level of play against FZD, giving himself a match point. And here, against Ma Long, at 9-4, 1-1, he clearly dominates the "Goat" before breaking down due to his fragilities. But I see progress, in the game and in his body language. Is he on the right path to regain confidence? To be continued...
A suivre...
Qual lâmina está a usar o ma long?
Ma long is unbelievable!!!!👏👏👏
Ma Long is so composed and consistent. Thats where Alexis can learn. When he got frustrated, he started forcing shots and making mistakes.
Please show TT from behind one of the players - just as in tennis matches. It's the way superior camera angle
Many have brought this up and asked for the behind the player view, but they don't listen and continue with the horrible side view.
@@rodjohnson2632 yes, those dudes from wtt are the worst to their conmunity
@@herrmann5475 I guess side view is better than nothing, but it really doesn't allow you to see the subtleties of the shots.
They don’t change it because with side camera angle the get more sponsors= more money
I like side angle better
Does somebody know, has Alexis improved backhand technics or new blade or new rubber?
someone can explain to me the moment at 13:04 ? Why Ma Long gets the point ?
Mistake in call - it gets corrected when Lebrun checks with ref between 13:30 and 13:40.
Alexis devia ter pedido tempo no terceiro set, estava 9x5 e o Ma Long chegou a 9x9, set decisivo
He did he called the time out in 9:7 but it didn’t brig anything

Congratulation Ma Long

12:45 That point was the announced 2:1 for Ma Long orly? I thought that it was 1:2, i.e. a point for Lebrun
they corrected it later at 3:2, 13:35
21:57“Makes you wanna eat your finger😂”
That comment made me laugh too.
Alexis, you played very well today. There is nothing you need to improve in term of your playing skills. However, you let your emotions running you by the middle of the second game when you were about to win. Please find a teacher to learn how to control your emotions and practice it, keep playing fast and furious and you will be the top player in the world.
Merci je trouve ton commentaire constructif ❤❤lebrun❤❤
Nice to see the young brothers appears in the time of the big names almost close to be gone i mean retired, Ma Long is retiring, Fan Zhengdong isn't the same as he is like 3-6 years ago, and WCQ is like i only win one big tournament every 3-4 months and i lose in the majors, now the brothers will be the toughest opponents to China when the olders gone and WCQ is like he is alone.
13:40 why point was corrected to Alexis? It was correct before when the point was for MaLong.
no the point wasn't fot ML ! the referee was wrong and corrected the score one point too late
Is there anyone else cant't enjoy watching tt anymore because of the camera is placed in the middle and not behind the players?
Ma long mistake was to go with his serve mosty long or half long. Felix lebtun got easily his bsckhand Flick and open Rally. In crucisl moments ma long chance to shortend the serve which got him the Victory.
It's not gonna take long before Alexis and Felix surpass the best chinese players ;)
Experience. Self-mastery.
and luck ;)
the dragon!!!
love that antispoiler thumbnail 😂
Adam's back ?
Here,s two real maniacs - Ma Long and Adam Bobrow!
I thought its à Clash of Civilizations. Ma. Long appears to have it all Olympic gold Medal match. Home town or no
cherrrr bien fé
12:47 Lebrun point. 13:05 Ma Long score.

Alexis was good until the 3rd set, after that Ma has found his rhytim, and destroyed him! But congrats to both!🎉
Don't quit boy. Try it again when Ma Long is 53.
He will surpass him before that, in 2 or 3 years maximum Ma long won't be able to keep up with the Lebrun brothers level.
@@hellskitchen_orchestra Maybe Ma Long will retire next year. Then the lebruns' brothers will never have that chance. Sad reality.
Congrats you're the first stupid comment i have read so far. Kind a feat, in other sports the kind like you are more present
Timo Boll is still trying😁
What did Adam say concerning the eye contact at the end? Someone could please help me?
He said: "A lack of eye contact only says to me that Ma Long felt the pressure, that it was not easy."
Thanks a lot ;)
Camera angle destroys everything
W MA LONG
His real name is Alienxis Lebrun !!!
Why on the third set at 1-1 Ma long loses and he gets the point 2-1 ?? Never mind they change the score after ^^
Alex lost 1 point for his serve penalty. He was warned once for his rush serve by the umpire earlier.
Wonderful play by Ma Long.
But one day the imperator will fall. ;)
@World Table Tennis: DO NOT PUT THE WINNER IN THE THUMBNAIL! That's the most fundamental rule of highlight video production. Viewers don't want to know who won before they watch!!!!!!
Dummies running the show
Alexis
Yeah, that third set really hit his mental state hard. That being said he stayed aggressive at least… but the back hand is fickle, it can leave you in the worst moments haha
No
Ma long s lucky in some points it he would have lost already
20;48 Forrest Gump
24:05 best moment
Is it possible that Alex loses to the best because of the style/way of holding the racket? the Chinese do not have such a style of holding the racket
I can get over the exclamations after every single point. Table tennis is the only sport where the competitors go crazy over every point. I understand a point at a critical point or long rally but its just so weird on every point.
This camera angle has to be the worst thing to ever happen to table tennis SMH...
Search up WTT contact on Google, leave them a short message, I don't think they even bother to read youtube comments but if we express our discontent on official channels it might work
Chubby Alexis Lebrun. So professional ma long, simply the best!
terrible camera angle. It would be much better to use the isometric view
More than half of the match is backhand rally
