An Ni and Wenjie witness a security guard chasing a thief who turns out to be eight-year-old girl, Yaoli. An Ni brings her back to the police station. Despite efforts, Yaoli refuses to speak. Yong Yan arrives and gets Yaoli to open up, only to find out that she has a horrible past that she hopes to bury.
