I love Armani Code parfum, but projection and longevity is very poor on my skin. Barely two hours, then it bexomes just a skin scent. Does anyone have the same experience?
Don’t ever worry about projection. Sillage is what will get you the most positive attention in a fragrance. Spray skin and clothes and you’ll be smelling nice
On the drydown which one is fresher and less sweet? EDP or Parfum. Wondering if Parfum is better suited for spring/summer. I own the EDP and love it for cooler/cold weather personally.
The Parfum. It’s more of a versatile scent. EDP works best in the cooler months. None are “summer” scents. The EDT & Parfum are those anytime scents. The EDP is that fall, winter, cooler spring
I sprayed the edp on a big test strip and it was projecting in my room the entire day , and still doing the same next day if I am near it, pretty amazing….
The EDT is a super watered down version of the original. It used to be so much deeper, richer, and darker. I’ve still got an older bottle from when it was still called Black Code.

Code Parfum is the only frag I have that I sorta wear....just for others - lol. The women I know love it. I think it's "fine". And I get Jade's sentiment, those Codes smell so damn similar to me. I find them bergamot bombs.

Been a fan of the dna. Owned everything from the OG, profondo, absolou etc. My go to is A list because it is most similar to the original but modernized and refined. Of the new launches my order is parfum, edt, edp.

I bought the Code EDP - OG before it goes the way of the dinosaurs. It's not exactly groundbreaking but the execution of the notes is outstanding. Very sexy.
i got the edt bc i didnt know there was different armani codes is it worth to buy edp or its not that deep to get another one to have a slightly better smell
@@aiien8768 the EDP featured in this video is now discontinued. The new EDP that just launched is a very different scent than thr EDT. It’s a redesign of Code Profumo, that was discontinued a few years back, and smoothed out. Gonna be a good fall/winter scent.

Definitely try the edt. Most people are comparing it to older super matured bottles that have been sitting for a decade. Its going to always smell different than a brand new bottle

@@SoCalScents Yes i did. Also the edp wich was suposed to be the OG but stronger. But its not. The OG was much more sweeter in the orriental way the edp is sweet ...well just sweet cuz the edt is softer. And i also have the perfum version.... this one is just a fresher take of the dna wich smells like colonia but with more lavender. Thanx for the videos btw guys.
As someone who had the 2004 EDT as a signature, I was saddened by the 2023 reformulation. Mostly because they removed one of my favorite notes: star anise. It was cool that even people who disliked licorice/anise still enjoyed Code EDT. When I taught people about fragrances, I often used it as an example how differently notes can smell when blended.
I enjoyed the reactions! TY! I have the edp and finally started wearing it. I think people were saying it's closest to the dna from the back in the day original. Which could be seen as a good thing, or that it smells dated? It's weird because the OG Acqua di Gio is still my favorite of the ADG line, but I wouldnt wear that one today, yet I would wear any of the code line and they're true to their og dna too. 😅
Just picked up Code EDP and I'm digging it. Leans into a buttoned-up, professional, mature vibe more than a youthful, fun, casual one to me. It'd be great in the office. Feels kinda like you should be at least in business casual to wear it or something. It's cool to see that many reactions from the ladies. 👌
Sarah and tyler brought the vibes this time around. Informative and honest. Idk what was up with jade this time she's normally my favorite to watch. She had a bit of a mood swing this time but i still Love the videos been watching yall for a long time.

My gf fav armani is the code absolu gold. Its definitely not a scent that projects a lot, it was made for close contact, creates a small bubble and scent trail and lasts a long time. Smells better than code absolu, to my nose.

@@SoCalScents Yeah. It doesn’t smell bad, but it basically smells like a modernized formulation. A lot of the darker elements have been removed.

Code edt the OG was until 2009 /2010 really good... after was ike the perfumer forgot some notes and turnned into car refresher.
