She put her career aside to support her dying husband and later to be with her aging mother who was ill. I'm sure that things are going well for her in Heaven. Laura has the sweetest smile at 4:10; she must have been a very special person with great parents. I was there in the 80's listening to the radio and American Top 40 when both the Branigan and Self Control albums were released, I guess I'm the Lucky One. I'm not sure how or why but listening to Laura's songs makes me yearn for the 80's - almost to the point of tears.

Laura sings every song with a voice of an angel . This is my favorite song she sings that noone can compare to her . My opinion i heard the song THE POWER OF LOVE from many of the best but no one can sing it as great as Laura does with 110% of emotion that she displays while singing this song . + you can see it in her body movements.
