Prayers for the lady.
Yes sir!!
Sorry to hear that lady is dying. Poor her. Good job, Steve.
It's a good thing that you bought that new truck and decided not to retire. All of these older people would be up the creek without a paddle if you weren't there to fix things for them.
I hope Steve reads this comment because it makes a lot of sense for what he does in his occupation, Steven read the comments😎🇨🇦
I work for/with a lot of elders and it can be a challenge, but some of us will make it that far, so it's a good reality check.
Good job Steve elderly people sometimes are more satisfied when you put new parts in when replacing them whatever makes them happy
Probably because we wish that we could just replace OUR OWN old, defective parts.
Another job well done Steven! 👏
Great job Sreve.
I like American Standard toilets. Good products at a reasonable price
"I didn't touch nothing" 1 minute later.. "I touched that"
Yeah 🤣🤣🤣
15 times he touched it. LOL
Typical customers lol
"I didn't do ANYTHING! All I did was................." used to get that alot when I was a Field Service Engineer.
My Bad Steve. Great job.
Great job !!!!
Seems like the flapper is dropping to fast and not using all the tank water, only my opinion I’m a retired carpenter not a plumber
Lots of new toilets are like that. My parents have one. It's a 1.28 gallon if you flush and release the handle, or the full 1.6 if you hold it down. For number 1 and 2, respectively.
Howdy, i agree can a person move the float on the chain higher? 0r take it off
@@lesterburtard7588 I thought that was the purpose of the float to slow it down, it doesn’t seem to
Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again y’all. 👍👍
9:36 White crustaceans on the bolts 😂
Plenty of room in that tank to hold more water. Can taller parts be put in to get an extra gallon or so with each flush?
Just curious why do plumbers attach the little hose that is on the top side of the fill valve and route it so it goes inside of the overflow tube?
Matbe you can respond to my question if you can.
Have a wonderful rest of your day.
God bless 🙏
Overflow fills bowl to proper level
It's to refill the P trap in the bowl to stop smells & gasses coming up from the drain. I guess some toilets don't retain enough water once the flush has finished to keep the trap filled so need a little extra water.
I covered the bolt heads in my toilet tank with silicone to try an slow down the corrosion.
So the purpose of that yellow float is to raise the flapper up higher when you flush it. I wondered what they were for.
Johnny Houses are still legal here in North Carolina. My Sister and Her Husband Raise Goats and they have a Johnny House outside to use when they are they are dealing with the the goats. It has a toilet seat so that they don't get splinters.
Good Afternoon Steve!
Another successful tank rebuild.
Fastest filling toilet I've seen. 8 seconds done.
I have never seen one fill that fast. Amazing.
Must be the high water pressure locally. But that can cause problems of it`s own.
Hey it’s the 2x4 family 😅
Hello Steve!
They must not know that you can pour water right into the toilet bowl and it will flush everything down. Just put a few gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket to pour in. It sure beats sitting on a bucket.
I agree, I’m assuming based on there ages and health issues it would be very hard lifting a 5 gallon bucket.
Howdy Steve and Molly
Ya bat phone! Listed under nerves, Nelly!
yeah mom's thyroid get her, not her enlarged heart muscle small chambers. She had Sjogren syndrome all life. Your an admirable guy Steve. Salute!
Put super glue on the lid and you might never get another call!
We would be screwed without plumbers!
Don't you spray the toilet yellow?
I accidentally hit the thumbs down sorry Steve. You have thought me a lot brother you are a legend. Keep up the great work my friend. Why do you wear gloves.😅
Was this the 2x4 customer?
I do not like that sort of flush valve. I find them to be problematic, especially with minerals in the water, which interfere with all of the plastic surfaces that need to repeatedly slide smoothly over one another. My toilet has an old fashioned rod and spherical float and it has served me well over many years.
I still dont understand these things.... fill valve is simple enough to understand. What i dont understand is when you pull the handle, and the flapper lifts, why the level of the water in the bowl suddenly drops like its being sucked into the underworld... But I'm seeing no connection between the handle and anything that could affect the level in the bowl, what am I missing?
On our english toilets the flapper (or equivalent) drops the water from the tank into the bowl and that makes the level in the bowl rise, till its high enough to start a syphon to the sewer via an S bend, well ok its an S bend on its side, an A bend? AV bend....
I see you have a pipe for bowl fill, we dont have that either, we seem to use more water pushing the dirty water out 'round the bend' and filling the bowl with fresh the level of which is set in the shape of the ceramic S bend built into the bowl .
also we dont have the bolts holding the tank to the bowl inside with the water, the mounting part of the 'flapper' extends down through the tank say 1 1/2 inches, is threaded, and has a nut that holds a flange with the two bolts, tank also has 2 more bolts through its back to bolt/screw it into the wall
creates a siphon to draw bowl content out
Water mizer toilets don't flush as well
They had 80 Goats the last time that I heard.
👍👍🔥🔥
2017 and the toilet is screwed up already
It's the crap in the water in these parts. You've seen all the crap Steve finds in supply lines and whatnot. It gets into and binds up everything. Coats crap in the tanks too. I have to clean off my flapper every few months or the buildup makes it start leaking by. I have no idea how the 18 year old filler is still operational.
@@jblyon2i use scotch bright on the underside of the flapper on on the hole that drains into the toilet.
Then a put a few drops of food color in the back of the watet tank to see if it leaks down into the toilet bowl after a few minutes.
😊
@jblyon2 yeah what is that stuff in the water why is it so common in that area?
Cheers Steve another cracker 👍👍🇬🇧
👍🚽🧻
Queer flapper lmao!
Steve's videos remind me how stupid people can be in life and without stupid Steve would have no job doing what he does best that would be repairing stupid, life can be a💩 show until there's somebody there to repair it😎💯
Where did you get that fill valve? I never seen one like that.
Is this Steve and Molly’s production in your shop
Steve said they don’t make them anymore.
If she’s not touching the toilet, where is she shitting Steve 😮😂 she is in Nally Vannelli
Another quick fix and a great video Steve! Remain safe and keep the video's coming ☝️ 💥👌👍🫵
