DREAMIEST SURF COMPILATION | Longboarding in Alaia Mentawai with Beckie Liu

- My first ever surf compilation, hope you guys enjoy it!
I started surfing in 2017 in Bali on and off. Living in Singapore, a sheltered island with no waves, I took a few surf trips to Bali each year and finally made the move in 2019. Since then I've dedicated my surfing journey to longboarding, and only recently (in 2020), I started surfing on a shortboard.
Now that I've been seriously surfing for 2-3 years, I finally feel comfortable enough to post a compilation like this.
We stayed at Alaia Mentawai, and almost all of the surf footage was taken by Dave, one of the owners of the resort. The drone shot was taken by Lia Turiano (@lturiano on IG).
This was the BEST surf trip yet- can't wait to visit Mentawai again!

I loved the compilation, thank you so much for sharing! ✨I'm currently planning a trip with my husband to Mentawai but I'm still beginner/intermediate and tbh a bit intimidated by the waves there, do you know if there are some more mellow spots for longboarders like me? 🥺
Hi babe yes there are! Just let your surf guide know what types of wave you want to surf, and they will take you to the right places. Also best to go off season maybe December thru March :)
