Fizz Whizz sorry not the OP but the youtuber Liah Yoo has a really good video where she talks about most of the products in the line and what would work for different skin types!! it helped me a lot :)
Fizz Whizz I absolutely love their 100% Cold Pressed Rose Hip Oil for healing acne scars! I also am trying their Hyaluronic Acid 5% + B5 serum for glow and it's been working pretty well :)
belief the true cream aqua bomb is my holy grail moisturizer! i have dry skin, so it may not be the best for you, but i highly recommend the brand in general :)
*Cerave hydrating cleanser* Fav drugstore face wash. *Avalon organics intense defense vitamin c cleanser* 2nd fav drugstore cleanser *Neutrogena hydro boost gel moisturizer* damn near identical to this shiseido product I used to use & the belif aqua bomb *_Vichy aqualia thermal awakening eye balm_* my holy grail eye cream sold in Walgreens! *_No7 early defense night cream_* I used to be die hard Kate Somerville goat milk moisturizer, I actually like this better & it's become holy grail for me! These are all at the drugstore hope it helps! I've tried tons of high end and drugstore skincare
The Schmidt's Natural Deodorant is AMAZING! I work out quite a bit and this keeps me super fresh. You can find it at Sprouts for $10 OR actually at TJMaxx/HomeGoods for $3.99 (if you find a ton stock up!).
Drea41693 yes!! I was so psyched when I came across a bunch @ TJs..I'm now set for a year or more! Also thrilled to see it popping up @ more & more stores in general; for those who have Kroger or Meijers both are now carrying several varieties of the solid/ stick version.
I love "Derma e" skin care! They use natural ingredients that are good for the skin and dont add any parabens or other bad things. For those commenting for more price friendly options, check them out. They arent super cheap but affordable for the quality u get. :) *a cleanser is about $10. scrub $13. night cream $25. day cream $15. toner $12* varies a little depending on which specific products u choose, but these are average prices in the different lines within the brand. Can be bought at Ulta. Online through Walmart or directly from the Derma e website.
Ingrid, pink compliments you so well 😍 Thank you for this skincare recommendations! Your recommendations work well with my skin 💓 that is why I always look forward to your skincare faves!
i was so excited when i saw lots of skincare! i was also really interested in how that cleanser broke you out because i was looking at buying it but my skin is similar to yours so i think i'll steer clear of it for now
Glad to know I'm not the only one who had a problem with the lighting settings on this video. I could barely make out what the packaging looks like on most of these products.
Yall I can't afford any of these products either! BUT it is a favourites video. It's not like she's making a "top 10 face products you should try" video. She's just letting people know what has been working for her skin during the month of may.
hi ingrid! would you be able to do a video on affordable drugstore dupes for your skincare products? i like how you always go for gentle and natural ingredients, but unfortunately i can't afford any of the products in your current skincare videos. thank you!
this video got me excited about skincare again, im trying to use up what i have and im enjoying what i have, i agree with being gentle and focussing on hydrating skin rather than using drying treatments. my skin freaked out when i was on vacation and all i had with me to clean my face was a foaming face wash it was so horrible (i love the cleanser normally but not for when my skins had a reaction to something)
I normally don't comment on videos but I've seen so much negativity about all those products not being affordable. I understand it since a significant part of Ingrid's audience are teens/young adults with a smaller budget. I love skincare and I have a mix of luxury and affordable products. The following are my favorite affordable ones: - Effaclar Duo + from La Roche Posay: It's a great moisturizer for acne prone skin, it has a small amount of salicylic acid in it and it's not drying. Honestly I love it, it has replaced my beloved Clinique DDMG. - Eucerin Oil Control sun gel-creme spf 30: Great lightweight spf that doesn't break me out. - Tea tree oil: Great essential oil for spot treating pimples. The key with this is to buy the real deal and not some diluted version like the one from The Body Shop. It's way cheaper than the ones from big brands and it's much more effective. - Serozinc from La Roche Posay: very mild toner with zinc in it which helps skin heal. - Cattier Pink Clay mask: Natural ingredients and pink clay is great for sensitive skin. Cattier also has other clay masks (green clay, white clay) but I never tried those. As I'm typing this comment I'm realizing that these brands are all French Pharmaceutical brands so I'm not sure if they're available everywhere. Also btw you could check out The Ordinary, I haven't tried it but it has a lot of affordable skincare products with active ingredients. Just do a little bit of research before you buy anything. Anyway hope it helps someone! Have a nice day :)
Just be very careful with anything that has Shea Butter in it if you have acne prone skin because it always breaks me out so badly! I've read that for some people, it can clog pores because it is harder than other oils for the skin to break down! And thank you so much for the list, I'm definitely going to try some of these, especially that I love Serozinc and green clay mask from Cattier :)
FiGuSsSs African Black Soap doesn't do that because it's a soap so it The Shea butter isn't sitting on your skin. I have acne-prone skin and using it helped to heal my acne :)
You might also like the Christophe Robin hair/scalp treatment. I have a sensitive oily scalp and was also having trouble getting rid of build up- tried the product and my scalp felt so much better, clean and volumized!
This was so helpful, I have the same exact skin type as you and i always trust the products you talk about (except the sponsored ones) cuz they have helped me too when I listen to your recommendations! This month I too have been breaking out like crazy so I'm definitely gunna try some of these products out! ❤️❤️❤️
I work at Trader Joe's and was surprised by the quality of our skincare products. I love the acai blueberry face scrub and the midsummer night's cream lotion. Our sunscreen is also the top rated sunscreen by consumer reports.
I always love your skin care videos because I see products I didn't see before. I can't afford them as I'm a student but I love learning about them. It's really interesting in my opinion. Many youtubers tend to apologize when they buy expensive products but why. You only get that one face so buy the products that work for you.
i love the drunk elephant moisturiser! it has the best yet most unusual feeling. they have another one that i have and love it's in a tall bottle and is a gel like consistency. so so good
You are so pretty and I love the pink sweater! That shampoo sounds like the perfect shampoo for me! I need to try that for sure. I've been on the hunt for a new shampoo because none of mine seem to be doing my hair any good.
For people with oily/acne prone skins, what i do is that i put 1 drop of essential oil in my moisturizer so i get the moisture and it treats my spots, blemishes and scars ; and i don'r get the extra spots that sometimes come with moisturizing
Loved the video Ingrid. Even though I'm about 20 years older than you I still enjoy seeing what you're using since my skin can be a bit tricky as well:) I have to ask what is the brand and color of your lipstick?
I love the belief brand! I too have oil skin, especially during the summer, and since I live in a tropical/humid environment it was hard to find a moisturize that didn't feel like I just added more oil to my face. I got a sample of the belif- the true cream-aqua bomb and never looked back! I've been using it for about 2 years now. I use it for both a day and night cream, just putting a lighter layer on during the day. Since then I've also tried the belif- Peat miracle revital eye cream and belief- Hungarian water essence :) I'm glad you found this brand. Hopefully you decided to try more of their products!
Based on your review I recently ordered a few products from Fresh. Can't wait to try them. It sounds like an amazing brand. I have really been on a skincare quest lately and loving it. I tend more towards the natural "clean" brands these days. African Botanics, Tata Harper, La Belle Lune, Tata Harper, May Lindstrom and Vitners' Daughter are all amazing so far!
Love your sweater. I just finished watching estees vlog and came here an you have her signature cheesy jazz music in your video...hee hee hee. You can tell you're friends
Have been on a skincare obsession lately so I loved seeing all your faves! Do you have any recommendations for an eye cream that helps reduce dark under eyes? (:
I'm surprised that you said you like the Tata Harper cleanser. I thought you said in the past that you couldn't use products with salicylic acid. Also I highly recommend checking out The Ordinary. They have great quality products for a way more affordable price.
I've been using that phytho shampoo for years. It's a purely natural extract so it's not meant to lather up or be foamy. I have rly oily hair too and that's the one shampoo I can use everyday to just clean out the oil and not damage my scalp.
I personally never had problem with products that she mentioned. A lot of organic non toxic skincare products are very expensive and its not for everyone. But there are people who would love to buy it even tho its expensive (because it works!) I love how you give very good details of products and it really helps Thank you💕
i highly recomment bepanthen if you're breaking out. it might seem really greasy, but put on a thick layer over night and cleanse in the morning and it works wonders
That's crazy! That's my fav cleanser ever! I've repurchased 3 times now. Just goes to prove reviews can only get you so far as we are all so different :)
Skincare is an investment for sure. I dont think Ingrid should use affordable or drugstore line for anybody. This is your face Ingrid. Its different than makeup. Use what you can invest because its worth it
Ingrid, you should try the Herban Cowboy brand of natural deodorant! I get mine at Whole Foods. Works, not expensive, and smells great! Also could you do a video about transitioning your skincare acne/oily teen skin to some acne but not as oily? I just turned 22 and have noticed my skin changing in the last couple months to be less oily. Most of my skincare and makeup has been based around oil control so I'm not sure what to use now. Watching your skin vids has been helping!
I've been watching Ingrid for about four years now and I'm so happy that monthly favorites are back!
You look gorgeous in this video! I love the pink sweatshirt! And the pink lips!
Seven W. yes yes yes!💗
Have you tried The Ordinary skincare line? I just discovered them and they're super cool!
Which products do you recommend?
Fizz Whizz sorry not the OP but the youtuber Liah Yoo has a really good video where she talks about most of the products in the line and what would work for different skin types!! it helped me a lot :)
Thanks Mandeep :)
I love her reviews! so detailed...she introduced me to many new brands too.
Fizz Whizz I absolutely love their 100% Cold Pressed Rose Hip Oil for healing acne scars! I also am trying their Hyaluronic Acid 5% + B5 serum for glow and it's been working pretty well :)
I love it when you share your favorite skincare products! You're the best!
The sweater is gorgeous - pink suits you so well 😚
Emm Jey's Unlimited I totally agree 💗

Rose Bascom you should check out some Korean brands like Corsrx and the Ordinary, affordable (equivalent to drugstore) and really effective.
Try ELFS roller ball zit serum.. IT is amazing and took my pimple away SO fast, faster than a doctor prescribed medication.
*Cerave hydrating cleanser* Fav drugstore face wash.
*Avalon organics intense defense vitamin c cleanser* 2nd fav drugstore cleanser
*Neutrogena hydro boost gel moisturizer* damn near identical to this shiseido product I used to use & the belif aqua bomb
*_Vichy aqualia thermal awakening eye balm_* my holy grail eye cream sold in Walgreens!
*_No7 early defense night cream_* I used to be die hard Kate Somerville goat milk moisturizer, I actually like this better & it's become holy grail for me!
These are all at the drugstore hope it helps! I've tried tons of high end and drugstore skincare
Ingrid, do you use a conditioner after the shampoo? Or just the shampoo on its own? :)
The Schmidt's Natural Deodorant is AMAZING! I work out quite a bit and this keeps me super fresh. You can find it at Sprouts for $10 OR actually at TJMaxx/HomeGoods for $3.99 (if you find a ton stock up!).
Drea41693 target has the lime one now 😊
Drea41693 yes!! I was so psyched when I came across a bunch @ TJs..I'm now set for a year or more!

I haven't even started it yet and I know it's gonna be good love you ♥️❤️❤️
ahh can't believe we're almost 6 months into 2017!! can you do the skincare tag?
Mitchie M God that is so depressing, I haven't done anything useful 😂 Time flying so quickly I'm gonna be 80 by 2018 😂

+Hannah Medley I am!! Once I'm done I'll do a video :)
You look so beautiful like always!
Mark Dedner this is uncalled for.
Is Ingrid over 30?

I love your videos so much. when I feel sad or stress watching your videos is one of my ways to destress
I love this video so much, I find it relaxing and helpful.
My skin gets very dry and needs hydration all the time so I'm with you sister!
If anyone is looking for a super hydrating and inexpensive moisturizer, you should check out ponds! It's awesome and only about 7 bucks!
Shelby Berman Can you use it on your face without it clogging your pores?
Yeah it's non pore clogging!
The problem for me with that is it’s so greasy
Ingrid, pink compliments you so well 😍 Thank you for this skincare recommendations! Your recommendations work well with my skin 💓 that is why I always look forward to your skincare faves!
i was so excited when i saw lots of skincare! i was also really interested in how that cleanser broke you out because i was looking at buying it but my skin is similar to yours so i think i'll steer clear of it for now
I love your videos so much😍Can you do another shower routine💖💕
Hey Ingrid, could you do close ups of the products? A lot of them dont show up on camera... :/
Glad to know I'm not the only one who had a problem with the lighting settings on this video. I could barely make out what the packaging looks like on most of these products.
She listed all of the products she talked about in the description! :)

Chimène Saïdi another favorite of mine is Shea Moisture African Black Soap, it really helped to fix my acne.
Will def look into that! Thanks :)

i highly recomment bepanthen if you're breaking out. it might seem really greasy, but put on a thick layer over night and cleanse in the morning and it works wonders

Schmidt´s Deodorants (in sticks) are absolutely amazing, and def. most effective (yet gentle) among the naturals deodorants!!
One more monthly favorites video, and school will be out for me☺️
Ingrid!! I really love your lifestyle! and you :))
hi Ingrid, I'm new to your channel, do you use all those night products together every night or do you rotate thru them? as well as the day ones?
love this! ❤️😍
Love these products! Thanks for the video
I always do two hair washes in a row no matter what shampoo I use. I find it makes a big difference.
remember ladies its not about buying what she has its about you buying what works best for yourself. dont be a copy cat! be unique and have your own
Im pretty sure I saw that Batiste powder at Ulta the other day 👍🏼
Ingrid I couldn't keep up with all the products, its so many. You use all the products every day and night or do you alternate?
Ingrid, you should try the Herban Cowboy brand of natural deodorant! I get mine at Whole Foods. Works, not expensive, and smells great! Also could you do a video about transitioning your skincare acne/oily teen skin to some acne but not as oily? I just turned 22 and have noticed my skin changing in the last couple months to be less oily. Most of my skincare and makeup has been based around oil control so I'm not sure what to use now. Watching your skin vids has been helping!
I need to try allll of that skin care! Xo from my channel to your's!
