They know that holding dollars is a losing game. Rich people hold valuable assets like houses, stocks and bitcoin. Then they borrow against those assets to get dollars to live and reduce taxes. You've heard the expression "the rich get richer while the poor get poorer". The reason this happens is because of currency debasement. It's the primary reason scarce assets go up in dollar terms. And it's the same same reason your groceries also go up in price. Once you understand how price inflation actually works, you're halfway there. But you have to think long term and keep your emotions in check which is not easy.
