Have you ever tried using autolock? If not, it’s a setting that makes you lock onto anyone who’s attack hit you, it may be tedious when spectating fights tho

5:05 Fun fact you're able to quickly use 3 after 2 then use 5 for extra damage in the combo. As long as you use 3 and vigorously press 5 after pressing 3 u can land it with someone being at full stamina

I don't know if it's possible in PC but it's possible in mobile; if you double tap the lock button, you can automatically lock on the previous person you've locked on. Maybe try double-tapping L to automatically lock on your opponent? No idea if it works though.
The targeter was targeting you because he was crying and screaming load, maybe that's the reason why he was targeting.. or make cuz he knows you're a UA-camr

Auto lock does NOT work by going off of who hits you, it re locks onto the last opponent you locked onto
