I've seen these young ladies catfishing with Steve Douglas. They can fish with the best of 'em and always having fun. They're UA-cam celebrities and great ambassadors for outdoor sports.

You guys know u could use a rod right? And just like but a piece of dead reed on a hook, put it in front of the frog and it’ll gobble it right up trust me.
Get a really small piece of cut bluegill, dry it in the sun until it's tough and use that. They'll hit reeds like you said, but if you use bluegill, they'll hold on harder and longer because if the smell and flavor. Helps get an extra one or two in the bag at the end of the night
I gig out here in South Carolina and we get frogs up to 12 inches! If anybody knows any hood ponds to gig out of in South Carolina hit me up on a reply
