he guy who called about his pregnant wife was looking at USCIS MyProgress tab on his online account thinking that he will get an Interview in 3 weeks because the Estimated time before case decision dropped down from 6 months to 3 weeks, he does not have an Interview scheduled and that time line will more likely go up from 3 weeks to 4 months or more or less back and forth until National Benefits Center finishes all the necessary Security and Background Checks on his N-400 and place an Internal request with his Local USCIS field office for Interview then depending on how busy that Field office they will place the application in line for Interview and when they finally schedule one then they will inform 8 to 6 weeks prior as Jim mentioned so he still have a Long way to go right now he is looking at this : Step 1 of 5 (completed): Case received Step 2 of 5 (completed): Attend biometrics appointment (if necessary) Step 3 of 5 (current step): Interview scheduled Step 4 of 5 (not started): Case decision Step 5 of 5 (not started): Attend oath ceremony (if approved) And more Likely Step 3 does not have a check mark ✔️ so no Interview yet his baby will be probably 3 or 4 months old before Interview 😮 Good luck !
