- In this Mumbo Jumbo redstone video, we build a working cinema in Minecraft. Following the success of my working TV in Minecraft, I make it considerably bigger. With Immersive Portals in Minecraft we can create non-Euclidian Minecraft builds, playing with scale. How big can a Zombie be with Non-Euclidean Minecraft? Well, this video should tell you!

Just saying, there’s a mod that changes the sizes when you go through portals. It’s called Pehkui, and if you see this, I am excited to see how much you can break Minecraft with it.

There's a game called "Subliminal" that's about changing the size of things based on distance. For example, if you pick up something and walk away fron a wall, it grows so it can remain close to the wall. There are even portals for changing your own size and object duplication
In most OG channels nowadays you always see comments in their videos about how they grew up with him/her or how they haven't visited the channel in years but mumbo is still here with us better than ever uploading content and keeping us entertained and happy.
This dude really just made a whole working movie set in Minecraft. I’m impressed.
To be fare, the cinema can only play one movie, in a loop (although I don’t know how long you can make a movie made in Minecraft).

Director and actors and everyone have extremely op teamwork
This mod is fun, I used it once to make a small landscape display on a mountain, than I used a size changing mod with it so going through portals actually changes your size and made a small hut so that when you walked past this display and into a doorway near it down a hallway you would pop out the hut door and be on the display. It was cool
Edit: I got confused I forgot I actually didn’t use the size mod cause I used the forge version
I wish they're was a sort of "hurray" sound effect at the end, I also wish the archer fire had a slightly shorter duration and maybe a bit more spacing in between the events but overall this was fantastic. the creativity and redstone engineering behind all of this is more than I could ever hope to do. A large round of applause for Mumbo!

Here's another quick tip for you about immersive portals, you can make both sideways portals using the helpers/obsidian and portals at ANY angle in 3D space, using commands. Have fun with that :)

The zombie spinning around while he was building was really funny.
i wonder when mumbo is going to discover the "pehkui" and "gravity changer" mods. these are both compatible with immersive portals, pehkui allows you to change size when going through scaled portals and also adds /scale. gravity changer allows you to seamlessly change your gravity (such as walking on the walls or ceiling) to any direction even when going through a portal that is flipped upside down.
I just love how the zombie is just rotating like a top while mumbo is just casually building around it

Really like the character development of the giant zombie at the end and the private on the left they really grew as characters with the private being able to overcome his fears and the giant being able to embrace them. Truly a cinematic masterpiece
I agree it was so sad when poor Jimmy the villager was tragically killed by the zombie. I had really grown to love his character over the course of the movie.

Honestly if it wasn't for the length of his hermitcraft videos, then I can see docm77 having fun with the immersive portals mod considering he has knowledge about the technical side of minecraft meaning that he could make tons of cool stuff we can only wish would happen in minecraft.

if you’re willing to use command blocks, you could make a destroyed version of the town and clone it in after the explosions to make it look like the monster did actual damage to the town

Its not pure redstone anymore if we use cmd block, what interesting about mumbo is we can build all of his creations in survival.
Mumbo- "So you've got a town and it's in the middle of the night and there's lights flickering in the buildings and then a gigantic momster suddenly appears and then the town attacks the gigantic monster, the monster dies and then they go back to bed and then it starts all over again"

I remember the CCTV mod being the hot thing in like 2013, but I had never been able to find a working version by the time I knew how to mod the game. But this is even better
I'd honestly recommend spending a bit of time to learn some of the portal commands because it makes the portals much easier to manipulate. It also means you don't need to rely on the portal helper blocks which can be a little clunky
Imagine how long it would take to create a 24fps short film with this method.
