    I’m a chef and the best way you can get kids to eat veggies besides smoothies is chopping it really fine and adding it to sauces and even baked goods. Zucchini bread is delicious and you can’t even taste it. Surprisingly avocado works well in desserts and pairs well with chocolate. If you do cook vegetables seasoning with garlic, olive oil, Parmesan plus any other flavors you like tastes the best.

    I started buying this smoothie mix from Costco it has kale, spinach, and all the berries. I add almond milk with vanilla protein powder my husband loves it. It gives him energy and helps with his medical issues

    Another fantastic crockpot meal for me to try ❤️. I love cumin, it’s such a unique taste. Tina, my advice as a lifelong cook, is to add some minced garlic ( 1-2 teaspoons) and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper before you cook the beef meal, both pepper and garlic need time to simmer and blend. Salt can always be added later, but when using broths, I hold off on salt until after it’s cooked, and then add if needed. Hoping you are keeping busy to keep your mind off “things that mamas worry about”. You look beautiful (Danny made me say it 🤣)

    I use chuck roast for pot roast. I use carrots, baby red potatoes, and onion with 1 cup of water, 1 packet of Italian dressing seasoning packet, 1 packet of brown gravy powder and 1 ranch powder packet. It’s delicious!!

    I grew up with My grandparents, and they used to tell me eat carrots it’s good for your eyes, till this day I love carrots and I am 37 and I don’t used glasses all my 3 kids and husband wear glasses...

    I make freezer meals for the family so if im not home, all they have to do is grab, and heat them up. They absolutely love it. Also when i make chili, spaghetti sauce, or brown hamburger. I make extra a put in quart size freezer bags and seal them with my vacuum sealer. So they can eat it whenever they want. The hamburger meat already browned is awesome for tacos, casseroles, sloppy joes ect... cuts down on the lenght of cooking a meal on a busy night.

    I usually use vanilla almond milk or coconut water for smoothies . I add bananas which I slice and freeze in a ziplock or my food saver vacuum sealer to have on hand. I also add kale.

    Rainbow colored meals look good. For broccoli and cauliflower just do a quick steam and take out. Stays crunchy and texture is good.

    For my pot roasts I use shoulder roasts. I find its the most tender. I also add 1 packet of brown gravy mix, 1 packet of ranch dressing mix and 1 packet of zesty Italian dressing mix to the roast and it is SO delicious!!!!!

    22:43. Awwww pray for Braden...except I think right now you guys need and get the prayers... it's so new for Braden that he is probably having loads of distracted fun doing his missionary training, meeting new ppl and keeping very busy. You guys are the ones to miss him right from the start. It will flip flop a few times over the trip but until the first P day I think you guys need the prayers!

    You inspired me to do freezer meals today 🤣. I have had gallbladder surgery and had a low immune system. I got a cut on my hand and had to have another surgery. From Aug 30- Sept 12 I had two surgeries and 10 day hospital stays and my dominant hand is messed up. I finally felt good enough today so I made like 7 different freezer meals including the cilantro lime chicken! I can’t have the beef stew yet until my stomach gets used to red meat. I’m looking forward to trying he cilantro one! If you would like some other recipes for freezer meals let me know I have like 50 now 🤣

    Eating veggies with ranch isn't good calorie wise, but nutrient wise I'd go with what Tina said. It is better than not having them. You are still getting those healthy vitamins and nutrients.

    I make several different but my favorite is: ice, 1/2 frozen banana, a big handful or 2 of spinach, 1 scoop Salted Caramel MyProtein protein, a splash of skim milk and a cup of cold coffee...yummmmmmm. I also use the triple berry blend, vanilla protein, spinach and vanilla almond milk.

    We love smoothies and I always use coconut milk from the can. It's richer and has more flavor. We always add chia seeds too. We love berry medley or any other frozen fruits, like the tropical blends from Costco.

    We do a lot of freezer meals for the winter time. I like my vegetables raw and cooked. I would use milk in my smoothies. Sending many prays to Braden and Ines and Paul son and all of the other missionaries too.Have a good one!!!!

    I love fruits and veggies. Carrots,,celery,cucumber,broccoli,cauliflower,mushrooms(sautéed),Spanish,salads,banana peppers, etc. Fruits: All Berries,pineapple,apples,orange,grapes,kiwis etc

    Tina, you need to get the plastic liners for your crockpot. It helps with the clean up which is easy Peary. I fixed a beef roast, carrots and potatoes in my crockpot using a liner tonight for supper. We ate, and I literally picked out the liner knotted it up and through the liner away. I rinsed the dishes and utensils we used and threw it all in the dishwasher. I was done in 5 minutes from start to finish. Loved it.

    My grandmother used to say you get more nutrients in raw vegetables than in cooked. This was great for me as I don’t like most cooked veggies.

    I make my pot roast completely different. I actually make it a tomato base instead of a beef base, I use Campbell’s tomato soup, it’s so delicious!

    What I like using in my smoothie is
    Tropicana 100% farmstand Fruit and Vegetable Juice is so good. There one that is carrot pineapple and mango that is so delicious in a smoothie and you are getting your fruits and veggies plus with the spinach and frozen berries. Also try the tropical frozen fruits that have coconut, strawberries, mango, and pineapple. Thank you for awesome videos. BLESSED to have families like yours to watch and my kids enjoy.     Love a good chuck roast. They turn out so tender compared to some other cuts of meat. We typically have elk roast in our house though lol. It's Hunting widow season for me ;)

    From the live! I’m the queen of freezer meals, most of them crockpot. I own 8 of those bag holders and use them for freezer meals and even when feeezihg diced garden tomatoes, corn, etc. I agree with you about hating milk but I LOVE vegetables! Salad is my main food and cooked veggies aren’t as good...try roasting them in the oven

    We LOVE veggies in our house. Especially my daughter and I. My daughter's 12 and her favourite food has been kale since she was a toddler!! Legit she eats it raw, cooked, steamed, juiced, in smoothies, homemade kale chips (just olive or avocado oil and a bit of salt). Also Danny, dip only negates the healthiness of the veggies, IF you are eating more dip than veggies. Either way, you are getting in the veggies, but dip should be SUPER limited or use hummus which is much better for you and a great protein source!

    Love all cooked vegetables but my favorite is roasted Brussel sprouts, I make a lot of chicken through out the month and that lime chicken really looks so yummy, DEFINITELY will be making that. Sending prayers to Braden.

    I love freezer meals, to the smoothie packs I do add banana, blueberries and a spoon or two of pumpkin purée. My favorite freezer meals are to make a big pot of spaghetti sauce and freeze little bags to use later; and I make chicken pot pie filling-thaw and fill pie crusts and bake. Saves so much time!

    I'm a total veggie freak! My mom started me on steamed veggies when I was a baby so I learned to love them very early. I'm excited to see how the beef turns out! I do a lot of roasts because it's just easier with working 2 jobs to come home and have dinner done, but if I can just have it all prepped ahead of time, even better!

    I do the Kirkland vanilla unsweetened almond milk with smoothies and it's so yummy! Carrots are good for your eyes because they're high in vitamin A (converted by your body from beta carotene) and lutein, which is an antioxidant that can help prevent eye damage. So I would say carrots are good for you! (Short story long)

    I think raw is better for you than cooked .. when u cook it , it depletes some of the vitamins .. so I say dipping is okay???? Lol
    I do know when dealing with stomach issues & healing it .. the cooked veggies are better for digestion

    We drink unsweetened vanilla almond milk and it’s delicious. I also will periodically drink coconut milk. Both are great in smoothies.

    Raw veggies are very healthy because when you cook them some of the nutrients escape. Love the ranch dip!! I use spinach, kale and apples with water.

    With our roast type meals we add brown gravy and ranch seasoning. So yummy!! Also I grew up eating veggies due to having a gardener as a dad. My oldest loves veggies and my youngest hates any vegetable.

    You can make ranch dip with plain 0 fat Greek yogurt. Healthier veggie dip.
    I’d use unsweetened vanilla almond milk in my smoothie.

    Chuck roasts I buy when they are on sale. I make meals around meat that is on sale. That is really helpful and budget friendly.

    I like roasted veggies. Just put them on a sheet pan with olive oil and garlic powder, salt, and pepper at 400 degrees. So much better than raw or steamed. My favorite smoothie is banana, frozen strawberries, orange juice, and a splash of almond milk. Does not help you with the veggies but I bet you could slap some spinach in there!

    I always use almond milk for my smoothies. I use to use OJ but I can’t do that anymore. Makes me really sick. Raw veggies are my favorite. Besides cooked corn. My mom always uses chuck roast for pot roast meals in crockpot. You two are always so funny doing these kinds of videos. Joking back and forth! Danny always giving amazing compliments to Tina makes me smile every time.

    My mom fed my brother when he was a baby so many carrots that he turned orange. He's the only one out of the three of us who doesn't have to wear glasses.

      Lesley Keirn my ex grandmother in law drank carrot juice every day and she was orange. Around her eyes especially and the grandkids were scared of her.

      Yep if you give a baby a lot of carrot, sweet potato and squash baby foods they start to turn orange especially their nose goes orange first. They grow out of it as you are able to diversify their foods...orange veggies are an early favorite though.

    Banana is a great smoothie addition, but another great vegetable to sneak in that can make your smoothies creamier like a banana would is riced cauliflower!

    I cook my roast 90 mins with seasonings and onions with 1 1/2 cup of beef broth, french onion soup mix in my instant pot on slow release .. and than put the potatoes and carrots for an additional 30 mins or the meat is tough and everything else is mush.

    I’m almost so sure I will see Braden where I live there’s so many missionaries that come on by!!     I felt like you guys read my mind ae I always have a smoothie with blueberries, spinach and I have a vanilla protein powder in it but at the preschool I work at we give the children smoothies of banana spinach, and yoghurt they love it.

    those look so good, healthy and delicious. you can use some bananas too. I love vegetables especially carrots. No i love dipping it in ranch. For my smoothie i make it with orange juice, banana, raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.

    I absolutely love vegetables. I have taken some carbs out of my diet like for example pasta and rice and I substitute the vegetables for it. Doing this has made my daughter eat more vegetables because she sees what I am eating and she asks for a taste or a small plate of my vegetables.

    My I always add a milk like soy or almond and or coconut water. I also love to add yoghurt and avocado to bulk it. Chia seed are also good as they help fill you up and lower your cholesterol.

    We love cooked veggies but also like some cold. My daughter loves smoothies with mango and mixed berries and a splash of milk because she is only 2 and will not drink milk alone. But love the video ❤️

    Great freezer meals! The chicken recipe looks good, but I’d leave out the cilantro and cumin only because I don’t like them. Mine would be lime chicken. Lol You can also add a small amount of apple juice to off set the tartness of the citrus. And you can add apple juice to your smoothies. This was awesome! Sending you all lots of love!💕💕💕💕

    I love peas, sweetcorn, celery wiv and wivout dip, cucumber, tomato’s. Ive had a carrot dip and it tasted good. I’ve be bought smoothies with ice cream and had smoothies with banana. I’ve heard that carrot has vitamin A in them and vitamin A is good 4 ur eyes. The chicken one I could possibly do wiv soya and veg broth.

    Carrots are really very good for your eyes. And surprisingly enough, cooked carrots are more nutritious than raw carrots. I love raw carrots, not so much cooked carrots... figures. I always use orange juice in my smoothies. Either that or 1% milk, or both. Then fruit, strawberries, banana, cantaloupe, blueberries, whatever. OJ is always in the base of my smoothies. So good!

    Tina you need to get a garlic press and buy the garlic that has already been pealed. It's a game changer. OXO and pampered chef are the top brands for garlic presses.

    I make that stew as well. My ex mother in law called it Aunt Thelma’s stew. Only difference is 2 cans of beef consume and 1 can of tomato juice. She would sometimes flake in some dry tapioca to thicken it up. I don’t really do that step. I always fished out the bay leaves of course before anyone served themselves.
