Yep. You can find so many articles talkin about how he’s the perfect leader for that team, how well he leads them, etc. Then they gave him all the blame and said he can’t lead cause of organization failures in year 2 on top of young guys who felt like they were the man not wanting to be led. I watched so many of these games on air…
Seeing him do this live on a weekly basis was one of the most surreal basketball experiences I’ve ever seen.
It wasn’t even the fancy dribbling or creativity with plays, it was the fact that he delivered when he first arrived. The man was a consistent, clutch bucket. If it was a tight game, somehow, someway, he put the team in the lead. Even when games seemed impossible, he would hit a dagger, with seconds left on the shot clock. Obviously it didn’t last, but my God was it mesmerizing.

We all know Kyrie is the best ballhandler ever, but I just tried to remember the last time I saw him get ripped or dribble off his leg and I couldn't. And he is constantly driving into traffic. Meaning he dribbles more than everyone, but he almost never turns the ball over unless it's from passing. Sometimes you'll see him about to lose the angle on the next bounce and just instinctively dribble low one time to center it and resume his attack. He hasn't averaged more than 2.6 turnovers since his 3rd season; he averaged 27 pts and 2.1 turnovers last year, and is at 23 and 1.4 this year. I know that moving full time to SG as Luka handles things would make him more efficient, but 1.4 turnovers for a guy who dribbles this much? That's not just fun to watch, it's becoming more lethally effective as he gets older.

@@bodzxbodz23 No doubt, but if we’re talking purely talent, I think Kyrie still has the edge. He’s not the same leader or shooter thst Steph is, but the man has so many ways to score, it’s ridiculous. He makes everyone else look like they just learned how to play the game.

Ky went from predominantly playing right handed , to damn near playing predominantly left handed efficiently 1 NBA season. That's why I give him if not top 1 or 2 he's definitely in the top 3 best scores ever.
