"On 12 August 2024, South Korean publisher Krafton announced that it had acquired Tango Gameworks for an unspecified amount. The deal had gone into effect on 1 August and that around 50 of the original 105 staff members would be brought back, with the rest of them reported to have already found employment elsewhere." I found this on Wikipedia, hope it helps.
To me, Under The Water is the official theme song of the game. its gotten so early and had such chill vibes for exploring good old tokyo. I just dont know genres very well cause i want a playlist of tracks like Under The Water.
I don't really know that kind of music too well either but I always jog to this Kaskade mix that played on BBC 1 back in 2011. It might satisfy what you're looking for. It's somewhat similar in vibe. ua-cam.com/video/eWhH4aneLDo/v-deo.html . Also, you can probably find a MP3 of that mix somewhere online. I know it exists, just not sure where it's at these days.
it has heavy influences from tropical house but its much more pop. i think Clean Bandit and Cash Cash has some similar vibes, but early Kygo stuff should be pretty close as well. Fifth Harmony's "Write on Me" and "Squeeze" should also give similar vibes (since they are produced by Kygo) happy exploring!
Both this game and the Yakuza games really make you feel like you are walking around Tokyo, even with the creepiness of Ghostwire, all the shops playing music at the distance reminds me of walking around town.
Absolutely. Yea, once I got around to actually listening to these tracks within the game, it really showed me that the game is real arcadey in nature. Gliding around rooftops, collecting money, spirits and fighting ghosts has a totally different vibe while listening to these songs. Such an awesome game! My personal GOTY for 2022.
I tried to find those songs but only found other songs that uses the same vocal track instead: The Other Side: DeepTurco / Daniele Baldi - You Keep Asking Under The Water: Ana Billie - I Am Gonna Sing Under Water / Ed Napoli - So Brave / Kumax feat. Anna Zitnikova - Go On 2036: DJ Ideation - Too Much Time Displacement: 7even (GR) / Ed Napoli / The Distance & Riddick / Phil Phauler / Zara Taylor - Just A Fool / Öwnboss & CEVITH - Break / Ron Gelinas - Games
It's interesting that all of these are remixes of the musical equivalent of stock photography. It makes sense they didn't make the OST due to copyright issues.
Thanks for uploading this. I played this game several months ago and really enjoyed it. At some point i found myself in front of a store called docojaro and a surprisingly catchy tune was playing. I saved a short clip of it meaning to look it up later. The track was "Under the Water". I forgot about that until a few minutes ago when I saw the clip as i was clearing hard drive space. Found your video trying to get that track name. Thanks again!
sometimes game devs make music specifically for the game for bgm or ambience or whatever unfortunately this is just that, i hate to be the one to break it to you but theres no dj multiverse at least not publicly i wish there was though :(
once im done with most games, i dont like to play through again. but this music makes me want to play the game all over. Nier automata had the same effect on me
It's such a shame. Tango was really hitting their stride. We as fans gotta make sure these games aren't forgotten. Keep playing them so we can keep the legend of Tango Gameworks alive for all time! 🫂
Thanks for sharing this. These tracks were my favorite part of the game. DJ Multiverse may not be real, but does anyone know who’s credited for these songs?
And the album "Sophie" by "The Gui" from 2020. Especially tracks "You Keep Asking" and "Open Up" sound very familiar... ;) I think she must've released the vocals under Creative Commons, so releasing "DJ Multiverse" tracks is either impossible or not profitable.
Nah, I don't think so. These songs only exist within the game it seems. The songs aren't even listed in the credits of the game itself and they're not on the official OST, it's pretty bizarre. I was able to record the songs by playing them in within the game itself, I plugged an aux cord from the PS5 controller into the line-in on my laptop, that's how I was able to record MP3s of the songs.
RIP Tango Gameworks 😭. You made some amazing games. Ghostwire will always be an all-time favorite for me.

Funeral for Tango Gameworks..
Yea, some of the lyrics in these songs hit different now that Tango is gone. 😢

I just loved running around in-game with this music playing. Shame it wasn't part of the OST on Steam.

Thank you, now that I already beat 100% of Ghostwire Tokyo, I don't want to boot the game just to listen to these awesome songs anymore.

The Other Side - 3:20
Under the Water - 7:03

When you come for an epic Onmyoji Action-Thriller game but stay for a nice groove of dance musics~
Playing this playlist in-game makes collecting spirits in the game fun. Thank you for posting this 😁

No problem, thanks for commenting. Glad you enjoyed the game.
Why aren't it on spotify? These are outright bangers
Agreed
Same
It's sad that these never made it to the OST they're great.
Yea, it's weird that they aren't in the credits either. Kinda neat too though, it's like they only exist within the game's universe.

Soundtracks are inspired from early 2010s EDM/ House tracks which is still my favorite music genre

We need these type of songs for more games it's a banger, the other side is my favorite out of all of them btw
100%, the songs are amazing and really alter the vibe of the game when you listen to them and are gliding around Tokyo rooftops. Love this game.
The other side was the first one I got and it’s the only one on repeat
Does anybody know why they won't/can't release these already/still?!
No clue. They aren't even listed in the end game credits, lol. It's like the songs only exist within the game's world.
