  • This is a 1st musical demonstration of my BlueARP hardware prototype.
    The prototype introduction is here:
    • BlueARP hardware proto...
It's purely hardware performance, using BlueARP factory bank loaded into prototype.
The same can be done with software BlueARP and VSTs of course, but playing with hardware is so much fun!
Please share your opinions in this KVR audio forums thread:
    www.kvraudio.c...
Your feedback may help me to finally make it as a serial hadrware device.

Fantastic prototype. How about having thisUSB- wired to a powerbank for power.

Mark de Muze Sure it is possible. Or using usb power supply

Really really great work. Congratulations on this awesome work! I have no doubt you will sell a LOT of this machine you made. Super musical.🙂

Fine. This is the arpeggiator I was waiting for a lot of time. Could I ask if your are going to release it as a product to buy or a project that everyone could do it himself? I am very curious about it. I was planning an hardware arpeggiator based on a arduino to play presest and and android app GUI to drive arduino driven by bluethoot. But it is a very time spending.

As a product to buy at this point. Will be too tricky as DIY kit. But the same problem as yours - it's pretty time consuming. Currently I did a lot on GUI side, a friend of mine is working on a PCB board for controls (LEDs and buttons).
Arduino's not an option for me, cause even 192k of onboard RAM SRM42F4 chip has is not enough, I have to utilize a development board with external SDRAM. In my case the arp code DSP code is the same for hardware and software, and it's far more complicated that simple up/down/up&down arp business.
Basically you can check what BlueARP vst does, the hardware version will do all the same (run several BlueARPs and sync to MIDI or generate MIDI clock)
You also can check "BlueARP implementers forum" group of facebook, some news there.
Also, there's a KVR forum thread for hardware prototype
      www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=480059
Moreover, if you are willing to donate some of your time to help us with development, we are open to discuss that )

      Hi
I listened to the demo videos and I have appreciated them a lot.
I also know bluearp vst since your first videos. It helps to play the music I like.
I will be happy to donate my time. I am available to help with development.

Ok then. Can you drop me a mail to graywolf2004@mail.ru?
I will write back with more details.

      Greetings Alessandro,
I'm the second guy that Oleg has talked about, namely "the PCB guy".
I'm very glad to hear that you'd like to help us in our project, which is why i'm inviting you onto our Facebook group, which in essence is the central exchange point for the project. On the menu of the group are a few sneak-peeks into the PCB process, and a lot of decision making for the forum.
Here is the link, for you and other people that are interested, to join : facebook.com/groups/313012915779860/
      Thanks :)

Hello. I'm seeing the progress of the pcb on the prototype on facebook pages. Can I ask for something?
    A) The first question is related to the developing state of the prototype.
    B) The second is about giving some help and some suggestions. How can I help and contribute?
I also have a question about the general architecture of the hardware version of hw bluearp.
I am posting posted this question since I talked to Oleg about my old idea to develop an arduous prototype, even though he talked to me about the low power of his processor compared to the board used for bluearp hardware (Stm32 disco).. My idea was to use an Arduino card just to guide MIDI ports and use an Android application as a driver on a cell phone / tablet connected to BlueTooth.
I wish ask if you thought of using the Stm32-discovery +BT cart with an app android / ios. So you can have a lot more flexibility. I apologize if this request seems silly.

Hi. Generally I thought about making a remote control app for hardware BlueARP, probably as a BlueARP itself in some special mode. It's all manageable, but since I do 90% of the work myself, such a thing is closer to the end of my todo list for BlueARP hardware.
Arduino's not an option for me, cause except CPU power I need arounf 512Kbytes of RAM, so external SDRAM becomes a must. And running 8 instances of BlueARP gives a good load even on 168MHz running STM32.
Can you describe in more details what king of solution do you want? It's not clear to me from the description. Is it some ARP on stm32 without GUI, remotely controlled by Android tablet?

Wow, it loads BlueArp .fxp presets from an SD card! Does it save them too? It seems nice and fast to use. Great job.

Not yet, but it will do soon. Cause it's basically the same core BlueARP code, compiled from ARM CPU. Now I'm working on the GUI, will post the updates on my progress.
