I am debating on getting a tslim, I am pretty lean and don't have much body fat to work with, which infusion set would work with little body fat? Another question, can you remove the pump tube from the infusion set? like with the little clip, and attach it back on? Any answers would help, thanks! 😁😄
Thank you for your interest, Simon! We'd love to help you connect with our team members in your area to learn more about our infusion set offerings. Can you please send us an email at TandemCares@tandemdiabetes.com, or give us a call at (877) 801-6901, Option 2, Monday-Friday between 6am and 5pm PST? Since Tandem pumps are tubed, this gives you the freedom to disconnect at the site. When planning to disconnect from your pump, please check with your healthcare provider for guidance. Depending on the length of time and reason you are disconnecting, you may need to replace missed basal and/or bolus insulin. Check your BG before disconnecting from the pump and again when you reconnect, and treat high and low BG levels as recommended by your healthcare provider. We hope this helps!
Thank you for letting us know about this Julie. We shared this information with our Technical Support team, who will be in touch with you directly to assist further.
please show a video on how what to do when you disconnect from the infusion site. We did not put the cover back the first time my daughter unhooked to charge it. We are beginners and have no clue how to take the tubing off and on the infusion set device. I can't find anything anywhere on what to do!
Thanks for reaching out, Angela. We do provide some advice on disconnecting from your infusion site here spklr.io/6054UBXQ. If you have any specific questions, our team is always happy to help! Please do not hesitate to contact our 24/7 Customer Support at 877-801-6901, anytime.
This really comes down to personal preference, Trystan. Our infusion sets offer a variety of different insertion angles and techniques that let you choose what works for your body. We also offer a flexible soft cannula or stainless steel needle, that might impact your decision. To learn more, please link here: www.tandemdiabetes.com/products/infusion-sets. And, as always, please consult with your healthcare provider whenever making new treatment decisions. Thank you!
Thanks for reaching out, Johnny! We encourage you to check out our list of trusted partners at www.tandemdiabetes.com/products/accessories to explore their creative accessories and over patches designed for Tandem Products.
Seems like the patch should come standard with the infusion set - especially if the actual company is using 3rd party products to demonstrate them. It's an added out-of-pocket expense, and yet another product/industry that diabetics have to navigate on top of everything else. These small stressors combine to be the most challenging part of managing the disease.
@upward94 we’re talking about infusion sets here. Not CGM sensors. I LOVE that the Dexcom sensor comes with its own patch. This video is about Tandem infusion sets.

Warum kann ich keine KH eingeben wenn der BZ zu niedrig ist und die Insulinabgabe schon ausgesetzt ist??
Es wäre echt sinnvoller.
