Kenya problem is not luck of knowledge in the government but luck of good leadership with good intentions and vision. Dr. Indii, the guy learning Kenya economy from the state house, is an Oxford PhD, Njoguna in treasury is another PhD.

I don't think Manyora is trying to be a tribalist in this conversation. I think what he's implying is based on the analysis and history of Kenyans' voting patterns and behaviour. So going by that, it's why he feels that the politics leading up to 2027 will follow the usual script. As he implied, many a time the voter has proved to vote not necessarily with their head, but by the 'us against them' mentality. Hopefully the mwananchi will be not be so swayed ovyo ovyo this time around, and will vote on issues this time around.

Prof. Manyora, l once wrote in your UA-cam in 2014 that Jimi Wanjigi was going to rise up and become a formidable force after the tenure of Uhuru. Kikuyu now believe that Jimi Wanjigi is the next Kenya president of peace and prosperity unlike Uhuru or RiggyG. Remember he is from Muranga and that puts him in a good place to negotiate among the gema community who should be president. Kiambu has produced two while Nyeri ha one. Muranga is next in line and that is Jimi.
2022 was about emotions and 2027 is all about real issues and no one explains them better than Wanjigi. Genz have enlightened the masses. Wanjigi will definitely be the next president of Kenya

Jimi told us in 2008 SGR 1000km Mombasa to Malava project was planned to cost of 50 billion as a private not a gov project. This changed in 2013 after Uhuru came to power and the project changed to a gov project i.e tax payers were to fund it at a ballooned cost of 300 billion for only 500km i.e Mombasa to Nairobi.Where did 250 billion (300-50) go to? It was STOLEN!!!!

I think Prof has residual shreds of the conventional/traditional politics of Kenya. Gachagua has showed us over and over again that he cannot fathom a whole inclusive Kenya. In my opinion, the "villager" description well suits him with his "watu ya murima" mantra. As Jimmy says, we're done with political struggles as a country, the focus is on economy and related policies. Maybe prof should comment on the last election in terms of the total registered voters, votes gained by the president and those of the opposition. This is where an opportunity lies for Jimmy, adding to the fact that the next election will include free thinkers (Gen Z). Jimmy has such a huge opportunity, he can unseat Ruto in a free and fair election. Watch the pace
