@@lewisx1209 its a bit strange, i only really know this bit of information from a phoenix wright game but rather than a statue of limitation they have a time limit on the time required to report the crime for crimes of a certain level, i think the time limit is 6 months and the crime level is decided which court it's tried in
Statute of limitations IMHO is fair all around. Petty crimes have like 6osh month. While capital offenses have no limitations. Sure some aspects need work, or in some cases more of modernization but overall it's pretty solid imho
