    They want to know if the Fed racquet flex is the same as the RF97 flex.

      Please the RA and the actual length of the racket after its been compressed by the tension!!

    I have 3 of them, static weight 320, 322, and 324. If I put some lead tape inside the throat can make them feel all very similar to the 324.

    Great videos, can you do one about customization with lead/tungsten tape, silicone, compare to stock, pro setups, etc. Thanks!

    Thanks for all your videos, been awesome.
    Just curious if you could do a video on the possibility that a heavy strike team racket would weigh the almost the same as a lighter strike 100 racket?

    Your videos are very helpful and fun to watch.
    By the way, have you see a racquet length quality control issues, shorter by few mm's than 27 inches.
    Do you think shorter length quality control issue can be acceptable at all?
    Thanks!

    Im a new subscriber , love the show. I have a 6 month old Wilson Clash 100L , amazing racket that has helped me advance my game tremendously. Its time for a string change , what would you suggest for new strings and string tension , keeping in mind im 58 yrs old been playing for about a year and a half am not a big hitter and always looking for more control. Thanks , keep knocking out the great videos and enjoy your game.

    The variances between the three rackets isn’t great, but still fall as within the +/-2.5% tolerance range most manufacturers adopt as acceptable these days. Getting them to match closely is pretty straightforward with a little bit of lead tape.
    What is more concerning is the tendency of these numbers to overshoot from Babolat’s intended specs (323g / 33cm BP / 328SW. There is a trend towards greater polarisation in modern rackets these days, with higher SW relative to weight and less HL balance. This is also observed in racket specs of the younger generation of tour pros.
    The problem with this greater polarisation trend is that when the manufacturers miss their design specs, the rackets appear to generally overshoot and end up heavier, more head heavy and higher SW. When it comes to high intermediate/advanced players rackets like the Pure Strike III, this can lead to a pretty unwieldy racket. 342 SW, ouch!

    • @quangpham2031
      @quangpham2031 4 роки тому +1

      Correct. SW is such a massive thing, imagine a player blaming his pace when the racquet is just too heavy to swing. Also what's up with that dog balance. High SW with low HL, what a recipe for maneuverability disaster

    • @jerome_morrow
      @jerome_morrow 4 роки тому

      33cm is 4pts HL. Traditionally, this would be regarded as being too unwieldy. However, tennis is largely a baseline bashing game these days and BP ~33cm is becoming increasingly the norm in intermediate-advanced players sticks in the 305g (unstrung) range.
      Agree that 342SW with BP 33.7 (2pts HL) is a garbage spec. That’s a caveman special and I doubt many players would find that stick suitable.

    Great videos. Given the crappy QC from the big brands, what can we do to retail sticks to match them up? I have 4 Strikes (previous gen) and they’re close but there’s one that I always favor. I play 4x/wk at a 4.0 level. Can you do a video on matching the racquets via lead, etc. Thanks.

      Send them to unstrungcustoms and they will do the job for you

    Please, compare or at least give some of your opinion/ impressions about small head size racquets... like Prince Phantom 93p, head prestige mid, Yonex Vcore 95, Wilson ultra 95.

    • @johnyang1420
      @johnyang1420 4 роки тому

      He might do that, but most people use 97-100. I use a 2009 Babolat Pure Drive Roddick Plus....100 head.

    I didn't realise they had such high swing weights on these..

  • @quangpham2031
    @quangpham2031 4 роки тому +1

    Way off the target specs. The swingweight is too high, balance is ridiculously HH, static weight is whatever. It's just pathetic QC. If I'm lucky enough to get an acceptable (machine measured) specs PS near me then maybe, but not gonna be bothered with demoing and online ordering.

    RDCs are a waste of money and overpriced as the swing weight arm is prone to breaking. Everyone I know who has had an RDC had the swing weight arm malfunction permanently.

      Don’t bother. New 360+ Radicals are coming soon. 360+ layups have been excellent in Gravity, Speed and Prestige so far. Current 360 Radical isn’t great.
