30 min morning walk along the Ganges river, Varanasi India.
The Ganges or Ganga, is a trans-boundary river of Asia which flows through India and Bangladesh. The 2,601 km (1,616 mi) river rises in the western Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, and flows south and east through the Gangetic Plain of India and Bangladesh, eventually emptying into the Bay of Bengal.
The Ganges is a sacred river to Hindus along every fragment of its length. All along its course, Hindus bathe in its waters, paying homage to their ancestors and to their gods by cupping the water in their hands, lifting it and letting it fall back into the river they offer flowers and rose petals and float shallow clay dishes filled with oil and lit with wicks.Ganges is believed to have the power to wash away the sins of mortals.

I visited Varanasi back in 2003 and I have to confess, one of the most wonderful yet wacky places I've ever been, and believe me, I've been around a bit. Went on one of those boat trips on the Ganges and saw the burning ghats - whaooo - what an experience. Great film, sir!!

Yes totally correct. But I feel whole the focus has been given to the Ghats only. No focus on Ganga and overlooking buildings and constructions. The video makers should upload an amended, improved and updated video also.

The river bank reminds me of my childhood, we jumped into water and swam till dinner time. It's one of my best memory.

@2:56 I see a mother dog feeding her babies, but I hardly see anyone feed the dogs, it makes me wonder how do they survive? Poor mother dog needs food in order to produce milk for her babies. Please anyone feed the dogs when you have a chance. But I still respect the people for not abuse and killing the dogs.
