While doing some competitive analysis for Footlocker, I made this video after buying some shoes online for store pickup. It highlights some of the disconnects between channels. This video is dated, so some of these issues may have been fixed.
Also to note, North Carolina has a one-way recording law that states that one member of a conversation can record without the other's consent. For an in-person conversation, the consent of at least one party to a conversation is required to record an “oral communication” which is defined as “any oral communication uttered by a person exhibiting an expectation that such communication is not subject to interception under circumstances justifying such expectation, but the term does not include any electronic communication.” Thus, a person does not need consent to record conversations in public where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy.
