Congrats to you as well even though I know you would have preferred making a deeper run but it’s a step in the process. Tournaments are very tough as I’m learning. I’m looking forward to playing more and getting more vlogs to help showcase some of these different games. Thanks for the feedback Darren and good luck at the tables!
Oh boy, that first hand.....You can't be folding top pair to a 1/6 pot size bet in position. Even to a 1/2 size bet we only only fold 7.8% of hands that contain an A. Most of our top pair that isn't trapping is just getting it in on the flop, very happily since there is so much dead money. Love the vlogs!
Yeah I knew it was very tight. I guess I felt like she was going to bet large on the turn which would be hard to call without improving. Thanks the feedback Mitchell!
5:58 i would value bet this. Villain is not chasing akj type of hand on paired board and you hold jj which makes it less likely. Villain most likely has Qk or AQ or other random Q. If she had a boat, you would have gotten raised at some point. I would have bet the river because it is so likely to be checked.
WTH was going on in the AA64 hand? A straddled pot, a raise, you had ok aces with a suit, automatic pot! You never want to let more ppl in cheap with that kind of a hand, especially oop! You could've made it $138 to go and gotten HU with the og raiser. And the checkraise on that flop against 2 players is pretty damn suicidal, since the og raiser could easily have a wrap that dominates your draw and the player in the straddle is even more likely to hit that flop hard in many possible ways. I'd just call and see what happens, hopefully hit something and let the og raiser put more money in the pot. Glad it worked out for you thou, a wild line for sure!
@@DonkFishPoker I see your point too, I guess flatting makes sense in a loose deep stacked live game since those aren't premium aces obv. Still, I'd want to iso the og raiser exactly for the same reason, equities run so close that I def wanna be HU on the flop. In my mind the suit decides it for me, if it were rainbow I'd prob flat too. Cheers.
922 and 983 DB bomb out, when you had 99J3....methinks that betting the flop is way better than checking. You are blocking so many hands (33, top set, even wraps on the 983 board) that it's unlikely that anyone will bet the flop for you. Perhaps, a late position deuce might . But it's a disaster for you if it gets checked and someone catches (for example) a Q when they have QQ and would have folded to a flop bet. I'd bet half pot on flop to start building the flop (opponents more likely to have calling hands than betting hands) and to also protect my hand from running into a disaster. The second reason is a true secondary reason but an important secondary reason.
That’s a great point and I agree. The only hand someone would bet here would be a 2, maybe 88 but there are definitely more calling hands such as JT, T7 etc. I guess I was fortunate to get one player to bet but unfortunate that nobody seemed to have a 2 here. Thanks for the feedback Sudhir, much appreciated 🍻
Wayne you gotta stop slow playing brother. On the flopped nut flush hand checking in flow on the flop is standard, but on the turn I think you should lead for 25-33% pot to deny equity from sets and 2 pairs. PLO is a game where people are way more likely to call a bet than betting the hand themselves. Keep up the good work
@@DonkFishPoker No, not since moving to Florida. If schedules allow I'd like to come down to Miami (I'm near Tampa) and try to play in that. I'll make sure I message you if I do!
@@RhymesWithCarbon Yeah that would be cool, we’re playing the big o, plo, 8 game mix and plo mix consecutively from the 26-29th, all $600 so semi cheap way to learn some new games especially in the 8 game.

glad you’re back, love watching some plo
Thanks Michael, glad to be back!
Awesome. Glad you got a cash session in at Paris during your time out there!
Yes! Thanks bro
Congrats on making the money. I made it to the money on the mixed game and was bubble boy on the stud. (So... Same boat as you regarding Vegas...)

Welcome back man. Nice video as always.
Appreciate it as always Nick!
Glad to see you are alive!
Thanks Wade, got a cash game session in for old times sake but been focusing on tourneys which don’t produce vlogs as consistently.

Good 1 Wayne. 1st WSOP cash is nice man.
Thanks man, my next step is to make a deep run like you!
Saw you my first day / your last night but couldn’t say anything as I was about to sit down the bomb pot game
Where at?
I like playing at the wynn and resorts world
Yeah I think the Wynn has great action and the resorts world bomb game is very fun too

You’re right, I think she said she had AA with nut hearts. I could have gone small on the river
Hey what about plo 5 card games in Vegas?
They run 5 card bomb games at Paris and have interest lists for PLO5

I try to keep pots smaller preflop as the equities run so close together preflop but I completely see your point there. Thanks for the feedback 🍻

Finally. What events are you playing in FL? I might be able to make it there
We’ll be playing the events from the 26-29th starting with the $600 big o
Will catch up with you later in the month, see what schedules are looking like.

How would you know if you only played one session in vegas?
I played a bunch of sessions here last year and it was just as good then.
Great win!
