The Japanese navy used Yamato as a kinda mascot for a long time hence why they market it so heavily. Now space battleship Yamato was based on the real Yamato that sailed in WW2. Yamato was the largest ship of her day and could fire a single volley to sink vessels in one shot as her guns were that big. Unfortunately Yamato was sunk in 1945 during the ill fated ten-go operation in the South China Sea. It was rediscovered in 2019. Yamato took 11 torpedoes and six bombs before it finally sank maybe more. Her sister ship Musashi took even more blows and sank too. The sinking of these two ships ended the era of the battleship and brought in the age of the carrier.

@@EverydaywithKris As for the subtitles, I know you are discussing this with viewers on "channel M&S", but I'll give you my opinion.
First of all, I have noticed that there are a lot of "translation mistakes" in the subtitled videos I have seen.(as well as in your reaction videos...).
So, there are many cases where the meaning is very different from the original Japanese meaning.
So, there have been many cases in which I have thought that the meaning of the subtitled video is different from the original meaning, but I have been frustrated because I do not have the ability to explain it to you.
(So far, we have talked about the conversion from Japanese to English:)
Next, the point you are struggling with, the request from viewers that "English be subtitled in Japanese ... .
As you can see from the comments from the viewers, most of the comments are still in Japanese as usual, right?
However, you have only put a heart mark❤ without translating most of the comments (in Japanese).Right?
As a result, I think that in many cases, the Japanese viewer thinks that you have read and understood his/her comment.
So, to speak quickly, I think the viewer may be under the mistaken impression that you can speak (and read) Japanese quite well.
So, first of all, I think you need to make a big appeal to the viewers that you yourself understand very little Japanese.
If you do this, the viewers will be less likely to make unreasonable requests of you.(Actually, at the moment, you can't do that, can you?)
